Can hats shrink?

^^^yep...i love fitted hats, but they don't seem to like me. first of all, everytime i try them on they're either a size too small or a size too big; i'm right in the middle of two sizes (but i also have a shaved head, which might be reason). when i do find a fitted hat that fits, it ends up shrinking in no time (and they're always rare hats, not ones you can find in every store you go into)

Hats can shrink. Never wash it in tha washer, if ur gonna clean it, do it wit a cloth n soap / cleanin detergent - in COLD water. I didn't pay attention wit a hat n washed it wit pretty hot water (obviously it can cause shrinkage) n it ended up shrinkin. Not shrink majorly, but it's alot tighter than it was before, where was when I was my other hats wit cold water with a wash cloth, they're fine.

sweat can shrinka hhat depending on the material i get a lot of rare hats to like minor league teams and etc.

yeah...every single fitted hat i own is a new era hat....is there something i can buy to keep it from shrinking
