I think there is a way to tweak the alarm to make it more sensitive to those things. Look into that.

I was just asking, cause lets say it was someone specific that's out to get you for whatever reason.
He may have went for the IPod thinking there's something there for him/her. Smashing your car window the first thing, then he spots the Ipod and says to himself/herself: 'Maybe there's something in here I can use.'
