A woman who was with rap music mogul Marion "Suge" Knight is facing an assault charge after she was accused of punching a taxi driver in Las Vegas.
The Nevada Taxicab Authority says 22-year-old Bo Pedersen-Rogers of Las Vegas was arrested a little before 4 a.m. Sunday after a scuffle outside the Palms hotel-casino.
An authority official says Pedersen-Rogers appeared intoxicated and was escorted to the taxi by hotel security guards. She is accused of punching the driver during an argument about the fare.
Officials say Knight intervened, and an altercation arose between the cab company owner and a member of Knight's entourage of about 10 people.
More officers arrived and a small crowd dispersed. No one else was arrested. Pedersen-Rogers is charged with battery on a cabdriver.
Knight was with rapper Tupac Shakur in September 1996 when Shakur was fatally wounded by gunmen who shot at their vehicle near the Strip. The slaying remains unsolved.
