Has anyone heard about this? Basically, Blue Note is putting out a compilation that's showcasing their most-sampled records. I've always thought compilations like this were dope, cuz they indirectly give props to producers who can flip samples really well, while showing how timeless the original songs are. For example, this Lou Donaldson song "It's Your Thing" (http://bluenote.edgeboss.net/wmedia/bluenote/droppinscience/its_your_thing.asx) was sampled by Brand Nubian, The LOX, De La Soul and more, but they all sound different. I got that audio and a full tracklist from this blog (http://freehiphopnow.blogspot.com/2008/01/droppin-science-greatest-samples-from.html), but yeah, love the idea
