Bloods and Crips

As a teenager I was fascinated by the US gang culture displayed in music and on TV, which is part a reason why I got into Rap music. I seen all the movies Menace II Society, Boyz in the Hood, Don't Be A Menace In South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood )).... etc etc.

It struck me as odd however when just recently I seen pictures on TV of a Bloods and Crips Peace Treaty, where one guy from each gang went and exchanged 'colours' with one of the other gangs members.

What is of these gangs today? I not been to America before and am confused as to what is the situation over in LA. Is colours a thing of the past?

well on the bright side 4 you maybe there is still beefs happening up here in motherfucking canada its all u see on the buses with the Bz up and Cz down and vice versa but half these punks dont even know the shit the gang is all about and whats worse i see these dumb ass shits walking around with red/blue shoelaces and long ass t-shirts of the gang color when i know very well that isnt what is done its a one and only banadana worn in particular ways and its a trend now more then anything and the gang talk is for glory and shit watch that fade too but yes if you look on the cover of vibe magazine game is wearing a t-shirt that each one is united and u know what I want that top bad just dont know where to get it anywho there is no gangs anymore now its the gang wannabees

ur definetly right on that I saw a fight yesterday and to be honest with you it really fucked my head up about that shit I can't even begin to describe the hatred I feel for that shit and the 2 motherfuckers that did that shit.And fucking them up is an understatement.
