I went to see it on Friday. It's awesome, they give you 3D glasses to wear cos the whole movie is in 3D. Fucking cool.

i'm a little iffy on this movie. it looks cool, but it seems so often that CGI movies are big on sfx, and not so much on story (Transformers, anyone?) so i don't know what to make of this. however i've heard it is surprisingly violent for an animated PG-13 movie, i wonder how they managed to get that rating?

It's PG? Even with Digital Jolie being naked half the time?

I dont know, looks too much like a video game for me. Ill check it out out of interest (mostly in naked Angelina Jolie), but I doubt it will be any good, or even as good as 300.

i was excited about it, til i saw the animation. CGI is one thing, but when they animate over people and make them look fake, that is just stupid.

and ruk, if it's not better than 300, then it must be pretty bad, cuz that movie sucked.

...it like a 500 year old story, it wasnt written for the film. some of the cgi is amazing, somethings actually look real, the reald 3d technology is amazing, possibly the best 3d format to date, no green and red glasses, you get clear glasses so there is no colour loss. even if you dont like to story or the cgi, the 3d will impress.

thats because anthony hopkins isnt small and fat and ray winston isnt young tall and muscular. they play the roles brilliantly and it would be hard to imagine any one else playing those roles. angelina looks great naked, even better in 3d basically you they still have the same faces just the bodies have been changed.

i understand making them look younger and all that, but their faces just look like video game faces. it looks stupid.

Thats because you have enough trouble with modern english so old(ish) english would confuse the fuck outta you
