Its been 10 years since this fight took place! what a fight! me an my friend were supposed to be going to this fight but decided against it, im glad now we did! the injuries gerald suffered that night are apalling, he can barely walk, totally blind,and partially def, and memory problems, im a big fight fan and i was obviously wanting benn to win but i would have rather gerald won as long as no one got seriously hurt! that fight is the second greatest fight ive ever seen live! the other being barrera v morales 1, benn and gerald are 2 warriors! its just a shame gerald has paid a very high price.
