Beanie Sigel is back in court, this time for allegedly beating down a 53 year old man.
The assault occurred, according to reports, after Sigel got into a verbal altercation with a female who was with the victim. This assault ended after an altercation with a Mr Wendell Mathis suffering from a broken eye socket.
Considering Beanie Sigel’s extensive criminal history, including a federal gun possession charge and a possession with intent to supply charge, the assault could put the rapper behind bars for a year.
Earlier this year Sigel was released from jail after being acquitted of an attempted murder charge. He was then back behind bars for non-payment of child support and only released after the child support and the fines accompanying non-payment had been paid.
Meanwhile, Kevin Green, the man accused of killing Sigel's stepfather, Sam Derry, is scheduled for a January preliminary hearing to determine whether there's enough evidence to take thee case to trial. Green is accused of shooting Derry and setting his body on fire.
