Maybe he was one of those firefighters turning the fire off in September 11th?For all you know he could've picked bodies.

and that justifies it????
No, but you said that this bastard was a firefighter aswell which makes the article more sickening, so I was pointing that he could've been one of 9/11 firefighters, and god knows what he had to see back then or what he went through, so he's got more reason to attack the guy than others.

thats trying to justify it.

the reason i said that it was more sickening is because it totally goes againt the rhetoric of a firefighter (i.e saving lives!!!)

I think you're misunderstanding him.

I think da8 is commenting on the part in bold. You're saying you think it's particulary bad that a firefighter did it. da8 is saying that he might've been at 9/11 so he'd have more reason to do what he did than the average person. Not saying that that justifies his actions but simply that it's not worse because a firefighter did it (correct me if I'm wrong).

Yep.
And Static, I'm Muslim and I'm not siding against the attacked guy, but I still think that your "this bastard was a firefighter aswell which makes the article more sickening" comment was out of place.

I think it is worse that it is a Firefighter!

If it was just some ignorant fuck, we can kind of understand that, but a Firefighter is ment to help people!

Makes you wonder if he could save someone that looked Muslim from a fire if he would think twice?

Good point, but he wasnt really on duty, was he?I mean, the Muslim he attacked wasnt in the fire?

I think a Firefighter like a cop is always on duty, and I did not say he was on fire did I?

Just points out his mentality, and how it could effect his judgment in a situation like the one I placed forward.
