I'm in the middle of my first season in franchise mode with the Redskins in Madden for the Wii. This is the first Madden I've owned since... 95? That may have been NBA Live, actually. Since all of my friends went back to school and I'm still in in winter break limbo until Sunday, this game and the Internet are my new best friends again.

If you have nothing to ask me, suggest movies for my Netflix queue, or find me another Wiimote + nunchuk at a reasonable price.

I haven't regularly played Madden in a long, long time, so I can't really judge in comparison to other systems, but I picked it up pretty quickly. Passing is simple - you just flick the remote forward with your wrist, and the intensity with which you do it corresponds to how hard you throw the ball. Kicking is a bitch, though. You have to angle the remote downwards and then swing it up (get it, you're kicking with your hand, hahahahahahahahahahaha - fuck you, EA Sports). I can't get that right at all.
