Nah I suppose I'm not particularly close to them, I mean I love them & all but they get on my nerves quite a bit (mostly my dad) & it isn't as if we talk to each other 'as friends' like a lot of people seem to bang on about.

i've grown up with them and lived with them my whole life, and I'll still live with them until I start college next september

I guess that makes me close to them by default, but I've never really went to them for personal problems or anything like that, so I'm not sure how close that would make me.

I'm reallly close to both of my parents. We don't always see eye to eye on everything but I respect their advice even if I don't always agree with it. That doesn't mean I would do something I didn't want to do. Generally they are fine with my decisions.

i wasnt ever really close w/ either,but after my dad died in '97,ive made efforts to be closer w/ my mom.i was always closer to my grandparents

I am the same as this, but recently I'm trying to be much more tolerant, it's just hard when you only see someone every so often..but then again if I lived with him I would probably go crazy.
