COULD Tim Westwood's days as presenter of MTV's Pimp My Ride UK be numbered?

A channel insider tells us that former So Solid rapper Harvey is in secret talks to be the new face of the show.

We're told: "Harvey got a call from one of the top producers at MTV to discuss the possibility of him taking over as host if they decide to do a second series.

The talks are very hush-hush but Harvey would be really keen to do the job."


The 25-year-old, who got married to Mis-Teeq singer Alesha Dixon last month, has already done a few presenting stints on T4.


MTV says: "The decision hasn't even been made yet about whether we will commission a second series. Series one is a big hit and Westwood is a big part of its success."

Pimp my ride UK is so shit.

It tries to copy the American template. Do the producers not realise that we are English and not American. The pleased to see Tim attitude at the begining, the jokey staff at Charisma and the pleased to see my shed attitude at the end is all so fake and embaressing.

It would be better if they made it more "British".

Instead of being serious and cool they should make it humerous.

Here is my shit Saxo before. Here it is mutated and fucked up afterwards, but it now has 20K of Audio and Visual crap.

We can all see it is a piece of shit. Why not admit it.


Tim Westwood is more wooden than any TV presenter I've seen. They should just add a comedy character like Ali-G. Then we'd have a decent show. A piss take of the American version.
