This movie is about the Mayan civilization set in the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico before the Europeans arrived. They were really sophisticated with their medicine, engineering, and science. The movie is pretty bloody and it's all sub titles. It's amazing how reading sub titles is no different than just watching without really. If you haven't seen it you should check it out.

seen it, thought it was ok but not that great. the violence was cool but a bit excessive, and there wasn't enough of a story to support it imo. i'd give it 3 out of 5.

I thought it was a great movie, and i agree with Jeremy the subtitles never bothered me at all.

Great movie, Mel Gibson did it once again. 9/10
