Found the problem.... Teach yourself plumbing... lol


I have a combi boiler and it was losing pressure daily... Looked inside and found the pressure release (overflow) pipe was warm... Suspected pressure release valve... But was worried the internals were fucked... New boiler is £1600 (Nearly $3500) and I aint got that spare cash..... Decided to test the valve and the fucker gave up completely... Pressure dropping out and no heating at all... No hot water or anything... With -4C temperatures overnight, not something I wanted to have to deal with, especially with a 7 week old.... We have a fire in the living room, but it wouldn't be enough.... No emergency plumbers I rang had the part and it was gonna cost $500.... I managed to get it off... Smash the fuck out of it and got it holding enough to keep some pressure in the system.... Long story short it now works and I have a new 1 coming on Thursday at a cost of $30... Which I will fit myself.... My first foray into CH, and my second foray into plumbing.... I fitted a dishwasher and plumbed all the piping and the feed in last week as there was no fittings there for it.... They had a washing machine in my new house, but no dishwasher... Weirdios....



So.... Was that a pointless rant or what...!!??!!

i am amazing at fixes clogged toilets... i have clogged mine both at home and in college so many times, i am a master... a craftsman with a plunger...

well, i live in the apartments, so.... there is maintenance, but i usually clog it late at night... around 10 or 11... i dont want to call them over for that
