What do people think of these? Very reasonably priced.

Be warned, Alfa's are prone to breaking down and if I am to believe the ToPGear survey, the dealers tried clients as manure.

They are "nice" cars, though. practical and lots of fun to drive. Basically, Alfa as always.

Top gear survey (which is UK only and from the last few years, so could be relevant to you) rates Alfa 156 as such:

Engine/Gearbox Reliability 3/5
Electrical Reliability 2/5
Brakes/Suspension/Steering 2/5
Fit/Finish 3/5
Squeaks/Rattles 3/5
Performance 4/5
Handling 4/5
Comfort/Praciticalty 2/5
Customer Care 2/5
Ownership Costs 2/5

Not too good then. lol

Being in America I could't say I've seen one of those except outside video games and shit. Not even that car exactly but just Alfa Romeo period. I'm not to fond of the looks. After reading that review also I wouldn't be too sure about this. Truthfully I'd hate to be in your position right now, deciding on a car, fuck that.

I love how Alfas look. The new 159 is arguably the prettiest sedan out there right now. Lot of fun too. But they arent the most reliable cars around and not cheap to own.

It's a typical case of "I want one, but wouldn't want to own one"
