Alchemist doesn't have the same role that GL had. Alchemist is probably just simply going on tour with Shady, like Sniper said, that doens't mean he's producing for Shady, and he is not signed like Green Lantern. They just needed a DJ for the tour, and when you're on top of the game (like Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit) is, you can pretty much get anyone to be your DJ. All they had to do was ask and no one would say no to promotion like that.
