I know that it's an old movie but I've just seen it for the first time and I thought it was the best movie ever. Has anyone else seen it before?

you remember correct,

it is basically the life story of chaz palminteri who played Sonny in the film.

I love the movie, a diffrent perspective on the Mafia life, with great social comentary.

I had just seen it for the 1st time about three months ago, and I too thought it was great. It's a long ass movie, but still, it really does alot to keep your atention because there's drama consistintly(sp). It even had a racial aspect to it which was big during the time period it's supposed to be in

I couldn't believe that all of his friends died at the end, I thought they'd get hurt, but I never imagined that they would kill ALL of them off, and then Sonny was killed as well, I couldn't belive it

Is Robert DiNiro (sp?) Italian for real? Anyone know?
