i read this article, but half the stuff i dunno how to do...overclocking my PC?? i dont even know if my comp can handle that....someone just explain this stuff to me and tell me how to find out if my comp can handle certain things...

and for those of you that can't, hopefully this article will help you out anyways..

overclocking is when you make the processor run at a higher speed.You have to know what you're doing or you'll fry your cpu. I overclocked my p4 3.6Ghz processors to 4.1Ghz each using fans,but my computer kept freezing alot because of overheating.So i got a water cooler and now its flawless.

I overclocked my old PC when I first had one, back in '97, after a while of too much overclocking, it fried it. So i don't bother now.

i think im gonna be a geek and ask for computer stuff for christmas...a video card, and a gig of ram....that oughta teach my parents....
