There has been great tradgedy in the small town of Hilliard, Ohio. After a long night drinking 2 friends of mine left a party. They brought 2 things into the party: A guitar and a book of 374 cds. The guitar was nice, but the 374 cds were GODLIKE. So when they were leaving, my friend with the cds had about 20 beers. He is an alcoholic, and has a beer gut at the age of 20, bright future ahead of him. Anyway when they where getting ready to leave, they decided the kid with 20 beers in him shouldnt drive tonight. So he just sits in the car and is like Oh shit, i left my cd book inside. So he tells the kid that is about to drive, just to run in real quick and get them. He agrees and has only had 2 beers at the time and he runs in and grabs both. Puts the guitar in the car. But somehow leaves the 30lbs pound book of cds on the roof of the car. Flash forward to the next day.
Hes driving home thinking all along that the cds are in his car. So hes searching fumbling around. Pulls the car over checks 5 times. checks the whole thing. Then as they retrace the steps from the night before. They make a discovery. The leather case that wrapped around the binder was beaten and tattered on the side of t road. He pulls off the side of the road and begins to look at his collection, which lies infront of him, in a million tiny pieces. He found a total of 6 cd's still in complete. But guess what, they are scratched to hell.
I can not begin to stress how these cds where this kids heart and soul. This collection had been years in the making. Around 15 years. Lets see the average price of a cd...lets say $13 dollars w/tax. 374+13=$4862 down the tubes. He shed a tear, and i cant blame him.

-RIP- Hunter's cd's.

Damn... it sucks to lose your shit. I remember a long time ago when me and KAMIKAZI were in Osco Drug he set down a fuckin Game Boy Color on a shelf or something (God knows why) and when we left the store he forgot it and we never seen it again. What a piece of shit.

yeah it seriously made me sad as shit all day yesterday...it was all raining and gloomy and it was just horrible.

The kid kept his cd in exact order. When he bought one new cd, he would have to rearranged his whole book. Throughout his whole life, his music was right by his side. His life has been hard as fuck, and i know there is nothing more right now than that kid wants to do but listen to track 14 on dogg food-"a doggz day afternoon". It always seems like when shit is lookin up for my dude, something drastic happens. shits fucked up.

Aint that a bitch. U missed out on numerous days of game boy color, which is quite addictive.

If every single cd that he used to own was bought than he is a true loyal fan of whatever he listens. So its no problem now.Just tell em to get limewire and he should have all his cds back in order in a week or two.

Why would he even bring all his 374cds to the party? He won't be playing every single one of them.Besides,a guitar was brought there so what made him think they would play all his 374 cds.

Well i think it had to do with the alcohol. He really dislikes hearing anyone elses music, so he thought hed bring in the whole damn book in, too satisfy his very urge to listen to whatever he wants.

But on the other hand, ive been real close with him since like kindergarden. We are og triple og's. Im bout to post a picture of us at leaps and bound for a birthday when we were all around 7 or 8 (when i get a hold of it). But he would NEVER EVER EVER even let me borrow a cd. They were so special to this kid, he wouldnt even let one of the most trust worthy people he knows borrow em. Even it was for less than 24 hours. And he would never even consider lending them to anyone he hardly knew. He would ALWAYS leave them in the car or at his home or somewhere out of sight. Shit hed even hide the whole damn book when there was only 2 people at his apartment. Shit he wouldnt even let his fucking girl of over 2 years borrow one. So i have no fuckin clue what he was thinkin.

He is a true and loyal fan. EVERY SINGLE CD WAS BOUGHT. NONE of the were burnt. But if he burns his entire collection, its worth zero. A lot of those cds have sentimental value along with the price tag as well. I mean the kid had everything. Years of scrapping money together to further the collection he loved as much as another person. Dont believe me i heard him say yesterday. "it's like my fucking brother died."

tell him to get a burner , thats what i did when my shit got jacked, fucked buying all that shit over

He sounds funny character. So what is he planning doing now?Start the collection all over by buying everything? Or hes not talking to nobody now? ;p

Sorry to hear that. It's always a bummer to lose something valuable due to your own negligence. I left 30 PS2 games outside on my friend's porch in a CD case for 5 minutes when I went in to get something to drink. Came back out and they were gone. It was in an urban area, so it could have been anyone. I feel for your friend, that's a lot of CD's to lose. If I lost my CD collection, I'd be pissed to say the least. :(

Funny character to say the least...too many stories...but i love that kid. Heart of Gold. We got the entire crew yesterday and just relaxed and reminisced about all the cds and all the memories he had with some of his favs. He was sayin all day long that he was never ever gonna buy another cd (except the new lake and cormega). But all 7 of us said HELL NO. You must buy those again. But it will take a long time to rebuild. When he gets a paycheck this is the order of importance.
1. Beer
1. Ciggs Yes i know theyre are 2 number ones, they are of equal importance.
3. Bar beer
87.Saving

Thats over 20 dollars everyday and when he goes to the bar he gets extra friendly and the money flies out of his pocket. We were trying to lift his spirits but i can garuntee hell think about that shit every single day for a few years.

Man I have a little more cd's then he had and if I lost mine I'd be cryin too, that must be horrible.

An in no way is a burned cd or an mp3 even close to having the cd or tape or vinyl. It's like having knock off J's or something.
