Guys, one question (coming from a n00b):

Im thinking about getting the HTC Legend. Its looks great, is not too expensive, and basically has everything i need for a phone.

However, what about navigation? Is it possible to install a programm or something?

There's Google Nav which is free and integrated into the OS.

Currently, it's installed but disabled on non-US devices, but it's easy to hack it to enable it. I have it enabled on my G1.

There's also a range of GPS navigation apps in the Android Market, for various prices.

The spec is better than the Hero masta. Plus Hero hasn't had the 2.1 update yet so it's still on 1.5.

Also, the chrome/titanium shell is freaking awesome.

Well, the processor is slightly faster (600mhz vs 528), slightly more ram (128mb more), a bit slimmer form factor etc. It's like an updated hero 2010.

I just got my Sprint Premier email saying the HTC Evo is coming, it will be the first 4g phone in the United States I believe, if not if is Sprints first 4g....Sprint is also getting the Nexus One.

Sprint - HTC EVOâ„¢ 4G

2 Cameras??? That is out of control, I might have to add another line to my account so I don't have to wait until November to get an upgrade, this thing looks great!

Many of them have that "chin" Seb. The G1, EU Hero, HTC Magic, etc. It's a love or hate it thing. I heard that it serves a purpose - that the buttons don't get pressed and the screen doesn't get scratched when it's laying face down.

Personally it doesn't make a difference to me. I've seen people complain about it, and then when the USA HTC Hero had a flat redesign, people complained that it didn't have the chin.

dedbrd I'm gonna be seriously jealous if you get an Evo, that phone is the bomb. That front-facing camera....that processor...that HDMI......acting as a mobile hotspot for up to 8 different devices...and on a 4G network too. You can't get much iller than that right now.

ARon, word is that T-Mob are launching their 4G network in the US later this year and it will be slightly faster than Sprint's one. Word has it there'll be an Android device to take advantage of that too. Don't expect it to be before Q3 though.
