we can watch matches on ustream?

justin.tv, tv ants, sopcast and all the others havent been so great this year.

also, casey. is there a way i can download ustream videos and save them to my hard drive in a video (not flash) format?

also, file2hd doesnt allow for direct conversion to .mp4 files anymore. i can still get the .flv file and then i have to convert it myself using moyea flv to video converter.
Yup, I've caught a few matches on it.

I usually go on ATDHE.Net - Watch Free Live Sports TV for matches. It uses windows media player. My p2p.eu also is awesome possum.

You can watch anything on UStream!

I remember a couple months ago when it was the MTV Awards and Janet was opening it with her tribute to Michael. I was up at 4AM UK time which is when it was starting in the US, but I couldn't find a channel here showing it live.

Logged onto Ustream and sho nuff, someone was streaming the whole thing live. Watched the Janet performance and then went to sleep, lol.

was it steamed live as in streaming a tv channel or from someones phone? i would like to download and save ustream videos so that i can watch it in my spare time and if i have to put it on my phone's sd card, i wont have to consume extra energy by using the internet connection also.

streamed live, the actual thing. With UStream, you can stream from any video input. So people plug their TV's or digibox's straight into the computer and stream shit that way.

I watch like every single Lakers game using UStream, this shit is sick to have on my cellular now. I can go to church, be at the movies, or be doing anything in the world and now enjoy a basketball game. Thank you so much Android!

Oh yeah oh yeah, this turn by turn GPS is crazy. Get the app if you havent already. My boss just bought a Garmin yadda yadda and I was like put that thing away I'll use my cellular and do it for free, he was impressed.

I've just had a brief play around with the Ustream viewer app and i must say it is amazing! i quickly viewed a video that was approximately 56 mins long, the buffering took about 20 seconds on a 3G connection (phone not on charge), and the quality was good. just hope it doesnt drain out the battery too much and the playback is good.

the app is still in its beta phase. and yes, like casey said - the iphone lacks the ustream recording app whereas the android doesnt.

This comes in tomorrow for me, hella effing excited.
Millz, does this have "G1"?
I'm a n00b.

LOL the G1 is a phone. That is the MotoDroid. Also a phone.

G1 was the first Android phone to launch (Oct 08) and the flagship phone of Android 1.x (currently runs 1.6)

MotoDroid is the newest Android phone to launch (Nov 09) and will be the flagship phone of Android 2.x.

I'm mad jealous that you got one, it's still not out here, although you can buy an unlocked one for about £500. But fuck doing that.

But yeah man, I can't wait to get it today. Shit was 200 bucks, not bad at all.

But £500 for a phone? Damn that's expensive.

You can pretty much get any smartphone for free here if they get released by the phone carriers, they subsidize the cost if you lock in for 12 or 18 month contracts. MotoDroid hasn't been released by a carrier just yet, but you can pay a large amount money to get a sim unlocked one, with no contract or plan.
