david james' move to stoke was called off due to a disagreement between the two clubs.

looks like garnder is set to join birmingham :)@), initial bid of £3m rejected. i bet the next one £3.5m or £4m will be accepted if they decide to increase. i'd rather him go to wolves or west brom!! - i am begging for wolves to make a move for him because realistically they can sign him and realistically he can get a first team place in that squad and even captain that side.

just dont go to blues.

MON reassures shorey that he can force his way into the villa team. looks like he will extend his loan stay at nottingham forrest.

speaking of forrest (thinking of nigel clough and leeds), has anyone seen "the damned united"?

it was reported in Italy that AC Milan will swap Huntelaar for Babel until the end of the season. They want back up for Pato and Ronaldinho while Liverpool need a striker.

Would be funny if he moved to Liverpool. He'd have played for 4 of the biggest clubs in the world in the space of 2 years lol.

im not sure about him though. he couldnt cut it at Real Madrid or AC Milan but then again they have a lot of good forward players and Boriello has been in good form for Milan. I thought he would have played more for Holland at Euro 2008 as well. But his goal scoring record looks pretty good even at Real Madrid and Milan. Is there a problem with the players attitude or something?

No. Huntelaar is actually an anti-star. Very calm and intelligent young man. Very professional. Performed excellent at Heerenveen and Ajax and the Dutch NT, just look at his match to goal ratio.

Madrid bought him and right after that that idiot Florentino Perez took over and starting throwing money away. Not Huntelaar's fault.

Then Milan took him over mostly to keep the fans happy. They demanded a signing. Though I do think he made a mistake by going to Milan instead of Stuttgart. He'd be perfect in the German league.

I just want to see KJH back on the pitch again every weekend, instead of this stupid caroussel which is taking too long.

And a Huntelaar for Babel swap would be like...the best deal ever for Liverpool.

I thought he was decent at Real Madrid. He just wasn't loved.

There's that, he also didn't get a lot of fair chances.

At Heerenveen, he made 33 goals in 46 matches. For Ajax, he made 76 goals in 92 matches. In the Dutch NT, he's 14 for 29. And in the NT he came on quite a few times as a sub.

He made 8 in 20 for Madrid and he still put 3 away for Milan in 11 games with virtually no starts.

the way things stand right now. Babel for Huntelaar would be a great deal.

I dont understand why Liverpool didnt make a move for RVN. I guess his wages are too much.

Babel is streaming a video of himself and a few others recording rap music in some studio at the moment. what an idiot. Maybe he should take up rapping altogether.

His attitude is just rubbish. he seems very immature as well. doesnt seem like a bad bloke by any means but just needs to cop himself on big time. he is wasting his talent.

Talent? I never considered Babel a quality football player. He is quick with a good shot, but I can't recall any brilliant first touches, cheeky through-passes or other displays of skill and vision by him. Not even close. I do remember quite a few failed actions, though.

Yeah, I don't like him. Not one bit.

^^thats true i suppose. i never really saw much either. there was just this general perception that he had great talent and that big bad Benitez was wasting it. Benitez has given him chance after chance to prove himself and hasnt got much from him. The biggest problem with Babel is that he is too soft.
