Roberto Carlos to Corinthians. He will be alongside Ronaldo :) Corinthians also want Riquelme.

Ronaldo + Riquelme playing together is my wet dream.

no homo.

Atletico Madrid have signed Tiago on loan from Juventus and Fran Merida on a free transfer. He will join in the summer. Not 100% if thats true because i saw it on goal.com but im shocked if Arsenal have let Merida go. thought he looked an excellent prospect.

Apparantly, Liverpool have held talks with Marouane Chamakh's representatives.

There is a lot of interest him around Europe because of his more recent performances. i remember seeing him play a few years back and i thought he looked a good player.

Liverpool rejected a 9 million pound bid from Birmingham for Ryan Babel.

reports suggest that spurs are offering us this deal:

swap deal:

they get carew
we get robbie keane
and we put some cash towards the deal.

IS REDKNAPP F'IN CRAZY!!!!??!!!

i dont want carew to leave!!!

besides we need a player like carew, not keane. he's vital for set pieces and scores many crucial goals for us. we;ve got a quick player like gabby and a player like carew has the power upfront. him and heskey are the type of players who flick it on to gabby who then chases the ball.

R Keane >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Carew. :) although Carew is a decent player.

no need for both Heskey and Carew imo.

Keane would give ye something different if he can get back on form again.

Carew fits Aston Villa more than Heskey and R.Keane would do.

I'd keep Carew and not disrupt the line up at Villa. He fits perfectly with the formation at Villa. Like Sandeep said he is the perfect target man for the likes of Agbonlahor and Ashley Young.

yea, but heskey is injury prone and although works hard for the team, doesnt get many goals.

carew is on and off and has great ability and strength. he seems lazy to me sometimes, but on other occassions he's raring to go and gets those important goals. we need strength and pace upfront. i think carew and gabby are a good pair if playing two up front - gabby provides the speed (and he's getting stronger since he became bulkier; carew isnt that fast but has good acceleration while there's no doubt about his strength and ariel ability to head the ball (same for heskey))

he's really settled in well with the club. the fans absolutely LOVE carew, he's our best targetman.

its only since he broke the curfue before the uefa cup game against ajax or hamburg last year since he fell out of the first team lineup and onto the bench. then the back injury set him back and heskey forced his way through. and with heskeys complaints about his england WC chances a few months ago, MON is trying to rotate.

carew should fight to regain his place.

also, craig gardner could either go to wolves or birmingham.

gardner is one of my favourites (as was steven davis, luke moore, gary cahill, liam ridgewelll - until he left) because they came through the academy and were here for years until their breakthrough.

Carew is pretty good player. He is a better footballer that Heskey. i dunno if there is a point in having both though.

That prick Redknapp just wants to buy every player. he is interested in Maxi Rdoriquez as well. as if they need him.

Maxi isn't even good anymore. Watch him for Atleti, theres a reason the fans wanted him to give up the captiancy. Tottenham have a fine side as it is. They probably need another Centre Midfielder if anything.
