Not surprised. His original goal was to be a Viking but couldn't for whatever reason. Now he is officially talking to their GM and owner.

yeah he'll be back, i can see a 2yr deal happening. the question is will he start over Tavaris Jackson.

Vikings are gonna have a nice Squad this year, and especially if Brett jumps aboard. Peterson is a Monster, and drafting Harvin this year. MY OH MY.

IMO he's an idiot for coming back again. He'll faill, like he failed with the Jets.

Just...give it up, Brett. Go for a coaching position or something. Close enough, you'll still be able to smell the grass.

He could have been the final piece to the Vikings Super Bowl puzzle.

Since he won't, it's 10 wins wildcard and choke in the first round again for the Vikings.

You Watch this time next year, just before training camps open. your gonna hear from Favre..Again, he'll be telling people he wants to come back. he's got the itch again.

Deanna wont want him at home, especially when the pool boy comes by in the afternoon.

he should just sign up with Green Bay an be the new quarterbacks coach.

Did he ever publicly say he wanted to come back this time? Wasn't it just Childress' desperate phone calls? Because he knows he's probably out of a job at the end of the season.

It's gonna be one of two things.

The Vikings make it to the SuperBowl and Ziggy gets his stadium or the Vikings lose, they move to LA, get renamed to some homorific name like the LA Solar Powers and Jeremy hops on the bandwagon.

Basically, Favre didn't want to do training camp. It's bullshit. I say he fails and they move to LA.

Solar Powers? Not sure...

Jeremy getting on the bandwagon? Sure. ;)

The Vikes dont have the best receiving core in the leauge, but its definetly a plus to have Favre on the team.... dude can still play, he almost took the JETS to the playoffs..... ALMOST,.... I think the Vikes are better overall than the Jets, so its a win win for both Favre n the Vikes

and Tavaris Sucks....

No, he didn't. In the last five games of the season he threw 2 TDs and 9 picks. Neither of those TDs came against the Seahawks or the Broncos, two bottom-barrel pass defenses. He got worse and worse every game because he's a limelight-fellating decrepit old junkie who doesn't like to stay in shape, doesn't like to practice, and is nowhere near durable enough for a 16-game season, let alone a playoff push.

Plenty of teams *almost* make the playoffs. What the Jets did last year is called a late-season collapse.

Vikings win the division regardless of Favre or not. Bears go 8-8,

Brett took a page from AI..(practice)?? whats that. Favre's gonna go for a 25 year NFL Career.
