So it begins tonight.

Cardinals - Falcons

I haven't seen much of these two teams, but my buddy says all hell breaks loose when Arizona gets in the groove, so I'ma go with them.

Colts - Chargers

I'll have to pick Peyton's boys. Chargers are ridiculously inconsistent this season and for some reason I think Manning will step up and tow his team to a win here.

So, place yer bets and take your picks, gentlemen.

Ya Duke your opinoin in these matters dont matter.

Falcons will beat the Cardinals and the Colts need to beat the Chargers because there overrated.

Its BS that Manning won the MVP this season as well.

Well, Falcons didn't win. Saw the game, poor work defensively and they (falcons) took too long to come up to offensive steam. Deserved Cardinals win.

Halftime during Colts - Chargers. 10-14. Looks like we got a football game. LT is playing, despite his injury. Doing well too.

@ Snowman: I agree that Pennington, and the Dolphins as a team, had a great season, but I do think the MVP for Manning is deserved in the sense that he was the player that meant the most for his team. Although the same could be said for Peterson.

EDIT: Actually, it's weird imo that MVP is awarded prior to the actual playoffs. Is the award strictly meant for the regular season?

17-23, done deal

Lots of stupid stupid Colts penalties in overtime (no. 55, really, a facemask at that time in the game?!) and there Sproles goes.

Sproles was THE man for the SD tonight. By miles. So many miles.

Hell yah he was. Im so glad people under-rate him and a lot of our players.

AJ better sign him to a big deal! Him, Merriman, and Rivers.

Anyway,
I think Chargers Defense played great! Always moving and not showing Manning the play b4 he snaps was awesome. They gave up 10 pts, and a bone-headed TD pass right by Cromartie b/c SD's defense was not set.

On Offense, it should have been like 28-17, but a fumble and an interception in the redzone is not the way to go. :push:

But i like going into OT in the playoffs so it didnt matter.

Cant wait for the rest of the games.

I predict:

Ravens > Titans - Ray Lewis is on fire! Titans Hayesnworth will run out of gas early and titans lose to Raves offense b/c of that.

SD > Pittburgh - Ben coming out of a concussion, and the way SD defense can confuse Peyton Manning; I say, SD gets 3 interceptions, and a few sacks. SD goes on an proves why they are the highest scoring offense in the playoffs since the playoffs started.

Car > Ari - I believe Smith will have a big game along with a complement of their running game. Ari makes too much bone headed mistakes b/c of no experience in the playoffs.

PHI > NYG - I hope NYG goes all the way so the 2nd Manning can get his butt whooped by SD...but I think PHI defense is too hot, and Eli will struggle b/c of no Plaxico Burress. In other words, Eli is going to have to be accurate to win this game, and he wont be.

Well, Ravens won it 13-10. Tight defensive game. Deserved victory though.

Cardinals - Panthers just kicked off.

Yup yup....

Whoever wins, SD or Pitt (though i am hoping SD), that team i think will win the AFCCG soundly with all of Baltimore's injuries.

Panthers look REALLY sloppy. I'd expected this not be that lopsided.

Ah well, maybe they'll pick up in the second half. Here's hoping as a neutral spectator.
