Real talk. Although we must keep in mind that it's not like people like Torres are struggling to make ends meet. They're still big earners.

But yes his main point that you have to play football for yourself, for what you want to achieve and not for the money, stands as a house.

I read on the official website that Pennant is going to Portsmouth..they didnt mention if its a loan of transfer...i think most likely a loan and then rafa will offer him a new contract or let him go

I'd like to see Pennant at Pompey, Pompey is the only club I tend to follow up on in the English Premier. It's a shame to see them in the position they're in, Tony Adams was a great player, but still has a lot to learn as a manager.

Man City are still trying to get Shay Given, I really hope he doesn't go there. He should be playing for a top club, not those retards.

According to Goal (lol), Arshavin should be in Arsenal by next week.

Schmeichel still is young. A lot to learn. Hart, I dunno. Why would Man City need Kaka? Cause they can just buy whatever they want and sell their other players lol

I hate to admit it, but there's a small part of me that wants to see Kaka and a maybe another big name or two come to City, and then the whole team failing spectacularly for the next two seasons.

^I say.

They seemed to have reeled in Nigel de Jong (HSV) for about 20 mil. He's an option for rightback, but better used in a defensive midfield role.

I hate to see Kaka go. Man City will never accomplish anything in EPL because theres Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and L'pool. So it would be a waste bringing in Kaka. Plus, Kaka is better suited in Serie A style.

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres thinks Brazilian star Kaka would be wrong to join Manchester City because the club are not currently competing for silverware.

"Manchester City is not the right team for Kaka/Seriously, how can they pay 100 million pounds for Kaka? Big players want to win trophies and Manchester City is not even in the race for trophies in England. They are fighting to stay in the Premier League, or to get to the middle of the table,"

Apparently Saviola was linked with Portsmouth, and he rejected the move. I thought it was BS, since it was on Goal, but then noticed it's on a few sites (more respectable ones) ... Does he even do anything at Real? He hardly had a start this season...

I guess he likes sitting around, making wages. lol
