I dunno why he'd make that move... Hamburg will qualify for the CL, he's loved in Hamburg, he works great with Petric in front.

I guess the pay was better...

this was on the front page of the sports section of an irish newspaper yesterday:

Juventus to sign Shay Given and sell Buffon to Man City for 100 million and then use that money to fund a bid for Messi. lol.

although if they were to sell Buffon to city for huge money and then sign Given or stick with Manninger then it would be a shrewd piece of transfer business imo. Buffon is a great keeper obviously but if they got an offer of 30 million or over, they would be mad to turn it down.

Man. Utd. signed a duo from Partizan Belgrade Adem Ljajic(17) and Zoran Tosic (21).

Serbia now has the most foreigners after Brazil in Man Utd.

Arsenal in talks with Arshavin.

Denilson in talks with Bolton :D I would love to see him here, even if he flops (which is most likely) But still, its Denilson.

no way. he was all flicks and stepovers and was no way effective. The likes of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Romario and Djalminha had much better tricks and dribbling skills than him and were way more effective players than him. Denilson was great at dribbling to nowhere .

I never said he was effective, he had no end product, but at simply beating his man he did it for fun but he held onto the ball too long. I've seen him go past 4-5 players on a regular basis, he was awesome at it. But if were talking about effectiveness then yeah The R's are better, but at simple dribbling he was fantastic.

I was a fan of his freedom more than him as an actual team player, I would never sign him if I had a team.
