The games im looking forward to are:

Fable 2
Pro Evolution 2009
Far Cry 2 (hope it lives up to expecations)
Gears Of War 2. i have GOW but i never played it much. Mainly because i have been busy with others games.

and a few that will come out in the next year or so:

Mass Effect 2(the first one is one of my favourites games ever. brilliant)

Deus Ex 3

Half Life 2-Episode 3. I got The Orange Box a couple of months ago. I had never played Half Life 2 before, because my computer didnt meet the min. specs to run it properly. I just completed Half Life 2 a few days ago. What a great game. I had played the original Half Life back in the day. The storyline is great. I have just started into Episode 1 so i still have a bit to go but i will look forward to Episode 3 when im done.

^^get it. i paid 40 euros for it and i consider it great value.if i paid 60 or 70 euros i would still consider great value. You get Half Life 2 (many consider the greatest game ever) , Half Life 2 Episode 1, Half Life 2 Episode 2, Portal (fantastic puzzle type game) and Team Fortress 2(which is a online co-operative type game. haven't played it yet). Thats 5 great games in one package.

If you haven't played the original Half Life, then id recommend that you do or else read up on what the storyline is about. If you don't then it will be hard to understand what is happening in Half Life 2. I hadn't played Half Life in ages so i was lost in parts as to what was going on in Half Life 2, so i went and read up on what half life was about to refresh my memory. The storyline is great but can be difficult to understand in parts. There is a good website out there that gives you a timeline of the events in half life.

^^Red Alert is awesome, I used to love playing through the campaigns on Aftermath and Counterstrike.

I played the first one on my p.c and loved it but that was years ago I can't remember any of it :(

I finished brothers in arms:hells highway yesterday. Not bad game, unlike many other first person shooters, you have to plan a strategy on how to attack the enemy.Still not as good as COD4.
I cant wait for the new COD, Red alert 3, GOW2 and maybe a tiny bit for Mortal Kombat...I seriously hope that game is good cuz I love the idea of MK vs DC

After reading this thread, and knowing that jeremy still lives with his parents at 30 years old, does anyone else see him as grandmas boy in 10-20 years?

Btw, doe anyone know when Final Fantasy 13 comes out?

Saints Row 2 "spoiler":

wow, let me tell you that Saints Row 2 is pretty entertaining but not as great as people expected it to be. I'm already on 23% of the xbox360 version and it mostly feels like Saints row 1 (the same engine, same arcadish driving, same aiming and shooting system etc.). There are a few new things (my favorite one is hand to hand fighting system). It may sound strange but sometimes it's easier to defeat a gang using your fists than doing it with your double .45s because even from the start you get a 3hit-ko combo.
I believe that this game is coming out to stores soon so it's really worth picking up but only if you liked Saints row 1. It's in no way comparable to GTA4. SR feels cheap and basically not much has changed but still it's a good game - mainly it's a continuation of SR1 story. Even the graphics haven't improved a lot, it's hard to even recognise that it's the second part. Menus, map and basically 99% of things look the same with minor cosmetic improvements.
Oh also clothes are more gayish and now instead of buying a specific type of jeans in a defined color you have to "create" them yourself which is pretty gay. I'd rather buy "baggy gray jeans" than "jeans" and doing all the painting and customizing (which actually doesn't work the way you'd like it to work) by myself.

I wasnt looking forward to that one. I played GTA4 for about a month but havent played it since. im a little bit bored with it. It is without doubt the most over-rated game ever released.
