Brazil's looking good lately, and thats coming from a guy who was hating this team, they were playing just with their names and money, without running, without heart.

without ronaldinho who was playing like shit just cuz he is ronaldinho, I hope he will be ready and healthy soon

Felipe Melo (who was a surprise for all of us) is doing hes thing
Ramires is a new fast and all around player

Luis Fabiano Kaka Robinho are so fast
Now with Maicon and Dani Alves a good fight for this position
And we have a consistent defense, Lucio Juan Julio Cesar with Miranda and Luisao making it a great bench

I have good feelings about this team.
Do you think Brazil lack a real Number 9? Fabiano is good but not as good as previous strikers (Even though he scored two today). Pato seems to be disliked by Dunga for some reason, Dunga told Pato to be more like Sobis right? ...who is now playing in the UAE.. But I've felt Brazil lack a World class striker for awhile now.

Melo is great, he was at Almeria I believe? He had a great season for them before he moved to Fiorentina.

Ronaldinho wants to comeback for Brazil...oh noes!

Also who is the left back? A.Santos, how good is he?

Chriiist, I wasn't 100% serious about my posts! I just think that some teams abuse the idea of naturalizing foreigners.

Also, Herny is from the Martinique and Trezeguet is from Argentina.

Other than that you have Cissé who refused to play for Senegal because he thinks that they are not good enough for him.

I just think that France has way too much players who are not FRENCH. And I have a lot of French friends who didn't appreciate their 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004 teams because it had a lot of "foreign" players.

I have no problems with players born in the countries they play for. I have no problem with Ibrahimovic, a Bosnian born in Sweden playing for Sweden.

I think that it's kind of stupid of Cissé and Vieira to play for France when they are not born there. Also they had invitations, but they refused them.

Those 100 'Zilians not playing for Brazil...

I love France though, don't get me wrong. Funner team than Germany and Italy. :)
both were born in France.

fuck Cisse though lol

I reckon its between Brazil and Spain for the World Cup.

But raised in Argentina. hihi.

Anyway, to explain myself, I find it awful when

A. Players chose some nation they happened to live in just because their own nation is not good enough...

B. Nations naturalize foreigners just to win a few more games.

There is nothing wrong to put importance on nationality and ethnicity when it comes to a national team. If it weren't the case, people can just start recruiting players from every country only to build a strong team, which beats the whole freaking purpose of a World Cup; clash of country styles. Now, when you have say someone who is raised in a country at a young age and chooses to play for that country because they feel they belong to that nation. That is fine, but when someone chooses a nation just for career choices. Then fuck off. You play for your national team cause you are proud to wear that country's flag on your chest and represent your fellow man. Not because you're a selfish prick.

Fuck, I miss the old days when players weren't getting paid 250 000 Euros/Week lol

Klose chose Germany in 2002 because he thought that he had a better chance of winning the WC than with Poland.
Oh yeah? Where did he say that? How do you know?

Klose has a german father and a polish mother. By the age of eight, his family moved to germany. He grew up here, went to school and so forth. I never ever heard something that could come close to being a proof of your accusation regarding his decision.

As for Podolski, he wanted to play for Poland but the Polish FA had some personal problems with him, ask masta.
Really? Well, i tell you what Podolski said about that:

The polish FA never cared about him until he played for the U21 national team of germany. Now being in the limelight, the polish national coach back at the time, even send him a jersey with the number 10 (what a lame attempt). At this point, Podolski had already made his decision to play for germany.

Really Sebastian?
Not funny. Next try. Plus, why do you say you are not 100% serious with your previous post? Of course you are. You just said the same things again.

I think that it's kind of stupid of Cissé and Vieira to play for France when they are not born there. Also they had invitations, but they refused them.
Being born in a country means jack shit. My mother could have given birth to me when she was on vacation somewhere in south africa.

Ok here we go
Luis Fabiano has been there...making goals like, forever, since playing for Sao Paulo, I like his heart, strenght and he is cold he is not afraid to try and the fact is, he's not a superstar, a marketing player, thats why he doesn't have the recognition he deserves... But you can't deny his stats, something around 20 goals in 28 games for Brazil.

Pato is young and is more like a backup striker, coming from the outside, dribbling, he needs to work out a little get a bigger body, gain some weight to be a competitive 9.

Melo is a nice surprise for all brazilians...

Andre Santos I can tell you everything about him since he started in my hometown team, Figueirense, back in 2002, and last season he was sold to Corinthians and since playing here he was a highlight player, and going to a bigger (media) team such as corinthians all the attentions turned to him, he's a real left wing, attacking really well and don't be surprised if he gains confidence and starts to make beautifull goals from outside and free kicks. Thats just his third match.

About Grafite, I dont know, he's def. a good striker scored 1 goal in his only game for Brazil and scored a lot for for every team he has played .
But I dont think he really fits the profile.
I dont know exactly why, but I don't feel him, and thats the common sense around. Lol
He's a local team player not a National team player, feel me ?

Kinda like Olic for Croatia. He does very well for every club he plays in, but the NT ... he just runs around like a headless fly.

Thanks for that, question how good is Douglas Costa? Man Utd have been linked with him, all i have to go by is Youtube footage...but you can make Freddy Adu look like a superstar on youtube.

well douglas costa is really young (1990)
And he is not well known for people outside Porto Alegre ( he plays for Gremio)
We just know he is the new deal around there. I've heard something about the next Ronaldinho.... like every other outstantind youth player coming after a big star.

I've seen a couple of games and he is very fast and smart, mostly of his videos are from youth teams, Brazil's and Gremio U-20, so he was playing with kids from 15 to 19 years, now at professional level he has played only 10+ times with gremio .
Its difficult to say whats really up, but he has indeed a great value and is a real good player to bet your money on.

But now, last game he received a red card after about 15 minutes in the field, and Gremio fans are already questioning his superstar status, after some bad presentations.

Then again, he is young and fans around here are so hard on this players, make it 2x worse after they get to know he is probably going to europe, after only a dozen games.

I was on another site and the Brazilians on there want him far away from the side as possible. Which I don't get.

I do to be honest, the guy is worse than Ronaldo when it comes to personality...

I know this a tad more because I followed Wolfsburg a lot because of Dzeko and Misimovic. Even in the team, they dislike him.

Just look where he played before... He came to Wolfsburg from Qatar I think. If you go there at such a young age, you are obviously playing for the money.

I watched him a lot this season, and to be honest, he's a selfish player. He scored 9 goals from the penalty spot, and he made a fuss about it because Misimovic was taking them before he did.

I think that he's way too good of a player to act like that. He should be more mature.

Correct me if I'm wrong Scooby, but the guy is a fucking bulldozer when it comes to the 16 yard box, but he's too much of a hot-head.

I tend to over exaggerate some comments and ideas for the unique intention of making some people mad/ making laugh people who understand my humor (aka only Flipmo and Duke hihihihihi).

I can find you the articles about Klose and Podolski if you wish. Same thing with that Pole with the long name from HSV.

Then again, if they lie, I lie...

What the fuck?

Worse than Ronaldo? Pff, no way! You never see him act like Ronaldo on the pitch, not even close to. You never heard Magath complaining about him. You never read any stupid story about him in the newspaper and if you can believe what Dzeko says infront of the cam, they both get along quite well.

Furthermore, what do you mean by he made a fuss about it? Hes not even the extraverted kind of player so i have no idea why anyone would get this impression about him.

Jesus Christ you Germans never get anything that's not straight to the point or direct... Can I put a little bit of sauce in there to make my post laughable. It was a hyperbolic metaphor with which I wanted to prove my point that the guy has the personality of a donkey.

Dude, what's wrong with you, I know that I tend to overexagerate my comments, but I already made a post about this...

He's not extraverted, but he's a dickhead...

Iran unleashes banhammer on Brits, football players

As Barack Obama spoke out more harshly against the Iranian government today, officials in Iran booted two British diplomats for what was reported on state TV as “unconventional behavior.”
A spokesperson for British PM Gordon Brown indicated the diplomats had been told to GTFO for “activities incompatible with their diplomatic status.” Not to be outdone, Britain immediately announced that it would be expelling two Iranian diplomats in retaliation.
The banninations didn’t stop there, however, with state-controlled newspapers reporting that four players (Ali Karimi, 31, Mehdi Mahdavikia, 32, Hosein Ka’abi, 24 and Vahid Hashemian, 32) have been “retired” from the sport after wearing green wristbands during a match in Seoul, South Korea, as a show of solidarity for fellow citizens in the post-election turmoil. (Iran drew 1-1 in the match.)
Six players in total sported the defiant wristbands and the professional fate of the other two remained unclear. Upon returning to Tehran, no players were able to retrieve their passports from officials and the wristbands are said to have greatly embarrassed Iranian authorities. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is known to be a fervent footie fan, and in 2006, Iran was banned by FIFA from international competition after being accused of governmental interference in the sport. The ban was later rescinded.
What the fuck is this... 1845...
