Fucking hell, Sampdoria thumped Inter 3-0 in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi final tonight. Pazzini scored 2 and Cassano got 1. Cassano set up all goals and was outstanding again.

Forza Sampdoria :)

Cassano raped Rivas. Rivas was horrible, why was he signed to Inter in the first place is beyond me. He was also the weak link against Man U. in the CL.

^^was he playing against Man Utd? Yea he is shit. So is Burdisso. If Sampdoria can beat Inter 3-0 like this then Man United should have little trouble beating them. Sampdoria had a player sent off as well.

Toldo, Cordoba, Materazzi, Rivas(Maicon), Zanetti, Vieira, Muntari, Maxwell (Crespo), Mancini, Adriano, Balotelli(Obinna).

Thats a pretty strong side and Samp finished with 10 men.

Toldo is the 2nd choice
Cordoba - first choice, but not as a RB
Materazzi - Hasnt played in awhile, dropped, wanted to leave.
Rivas - 2nd choice
Maxwell - decent, but lost his place to the 18 year old
Zanetti - God
Veira - past it, doesn't play many games
Muntari - first choice (can be god awful at times imo)
Mancini - Has barely featured for Inter, flopped.
Adriano - First choice..just about
Balotelli - great potential scored twice last week, but only just got back into the team

Crespo - reserve striker
Obinna - reserve striker
Maicon - first choice

Chivu, Samual, Stankovich, Cambiasso, Julio Ceser, Santon and Ibracadbra all did not play. All are first team players. :thumb:

Edit: My spelling sucks :wondering:

Toldo was one of the best keeper in the world a few years ago.
Cordoba - first choice, very good defender
Materazzi - World Cup champion
Rivas - shit
Maxwell - poor player
Zanetti - God
Veira - maybe he is past it. was a great player too though
Muntari - first choice (can be god awful at times imo)
Mancini - Has barely featured for Inter, flopped. maybe but i remember you said that he was awesome for Roma. he was one of their best players
Adriano - First choice..just about
Balotelli - great potential scored twice last week, but only just got back into the team because of a poor attitude. That doesnt take away from the talent this guy has.

Crespo - was a top striker. still is useful
Obinna - this guy has great potential
Maicon - one of the best rb in the world

I know they rested players but Its still a strong team though.Sampdoria thrashed that team and had a player sent off.

The key points to your post is most is dealing in Past tense, They WERE good or WERE world class, doesn't mean they are now, Ronaldo was one of the greatest players of all time, if you put him in that Inter side would it look better? Yes, does it mean hes any good? No.

Materazzi is World Champion but is he good now? No. If he was he would still be first choice as he is a World Champion.

Viera the same, Crespo the same (minus the World Champion bit), Cordoba is first choice but he played right back tonight I think, which as stated is Maicons position as he is probably the best.

The Sampdoria player was sent off at 3-0. Now you know yourself a team 3-0 up and down to 10, what are they going to do? put every man behind the ball.

nah i dont get why you are shitting on a good victory for a smaller team over the best team in Italy.

I dont understand why you went to the trouble of reviewing every Inter Milan player that played tonight. No matter what way you look at it, that is still a strong team. and to beat Inter Milan 3-0 in the Coppa Italia semi final is a damn good result for a team like Sampdoria especially when you played with 10 men for some of the game. jeez, give some credit where due.

i never said that Inter had their strongest team out either. i did say that they fielded a strong team which is true.,

Im not shitting on any victory, Why would I? I don't have any affiliation with Sampdoria or Inter Milan, I never discredited the performance by Sampdoria as I have no need too.

The point was made because you said if Sampdoria can beat Inter 3-0 Man Utd will easily win.

So I pointed out that Inter's team was not their strongest line up, which is painfully shown. I reviewed the whole team, (which only took about 2 minutes) because you put out the whole squad, subs included.

Don't make it more than it actually was, the fact is that 7 of the starting 11 are not first choice and half of those 7 are past it. If anything it was a decent line up, not good or great.

Yah, he started against Man U, because of him Man U had like 20 freekicks in the first half, then Mourinho subbed him at halftime, cause he's a little Colombian bitch

Hopefully, But I have a bad feeling about the game though, everyone is riding on the quadruple bandwagon and that worries me :(

i suppose you would never know, but i dont like some of those Inter players. They dont have the bottle for the big games. If they were to have a chance of winning they need to score early.

Yeah, Inter know they only need 1 goal meaning Man Utd would need 2, they would be alot of pressure on Utd to not concede.

glad samp beat inter
never really liked inter (tho' I don't particularly hate them either), but just the fact Sampdoria beat Milan and Inter in 1 week is amazing

and how sucky can Barcelona get? lol
1-1 against Mallorca in the Copa
well, at least we finally get into the final again, after.. 10? years

Pesfan.com to the rescue again :D

Rivaldo is underrated in a way, hes only now recognised for his WC02 incident, when really he and Ronaldo were easily the best players in that tournament.
