Owen. Why would Liverpool want him? Even in his prime he could go on long spells without a goal. Obviously is a good player though but not exactly what Liverpool need with Torres.

So much for the great Arsenal kids.
Owen is nowhere near what he was. He cant beat defenders anymore. Remember when Owen was playing for Liverpool, when he'd collect a ball, go past a couple of defenders and curl it in the top corner. When was the last time he did that?

A lot of it has been down to injuries it must be said, especially that hamstring problem he has.

Its the same way with Damien Duff. I was watching an old Blackburn game the other day back when Duff was playing for them and the difference between Duff back then and now is unreal. He looked way more agile and faster. He would get the ball at his feet and turn the defender real sharply and tear off with the ball. Now he has to move 5 yards to turn and isnt near as fast.

Tevez. Tevez. Tevez. Tevez.

He better start on the weekend. :thumb: Scored more tonight than Robbie Keane has so far for Liverpool :p

But seriously dropping Tevez in the first place was madness. Anderson played immense :)

Well the same amount of goals then :D.

Fergie won't drop the boy fucking wonder thats why. Even when hes off form he plays, when Tevez is on form he gets dropped? Crazy Crazy.

^^nah Rooney is an excellent player imo. So is Tevez. Id nearly drop Berbatov. But i dont think Ferguson wants to hold on to Tevez because he will cost about 30 million if they want to keep.

Rooney is a good player obviously, but hes never been consistant, he goes through a bad patch..then a purple patch then a bad patch again.

Tevez was the best player at the start of the season, Rooney was underperforming. Who gets dropped? Tevez. Ridiculus.

It has been confirmed now that he has left. He did a great job to bring Sunderland up from where they were but it is his disastrous transfer dealings since then that have fucked him up. There was an article in the Irish Independent yesterday where they reviewed Keane's signings. Only 3 out of about 30 players sign have been worthwhile.

What was the point on signing players like Healy and Tainio if you are never going to play them? He was no way shrewd either. All the players he signed were either Irish, Man Utd rejects ot cast offs from other premier league clubs. He never found any bargains abroad. He seemed to lack knowledge of world football imo.

This commentator on Sky Sports has to be the worst ever. He is just so boring. There is never any excitement in his voice. He spends most of his time rambling on about shit when he should be broadcasting the match. boring cunt.

Babel played poor again. hauled off early :(

Blackburn need to "shoot" now :)

^^yea but Liverpool drew games that they deserved to win easily so it kind of balances it out.

I think that Ferguson doesnt want to hold on to Tevez anymore (because of his pricetag) and will let him go.

ROnaldo went off injured. He got hit in the side or something.

C.Ronaldo just walked off and went down the tunnel :notrust:

But it saved us from Nani coming on. No wait.. Giggs came on though instead

omg i didnt think i could despise Ronaldo anymore. Did you guys watch the highlights of that game? First of all he is diving again which is no surprise. Im not making an issue of that. But did you see his reactions when team-mates passes failed to get to him? He just stands up sulking. I think he played a pass to Berbatov and then ran off him for the return but Berbatov failed to reach him. He just stood up after it sulking.

But the way he went off injured was the biggest disgrace ever. First of all, it couldnt be that bad. Then he just kicks the ball out of play and walks off the pitch and down the tunnel without even waiting for a player to come on in his place. This sickens because i know of Hurlers(irish game. look it up) over here in Ireland, who have played on in matches with broken collar bones and ribs. THey played through the pain barrier for their team. I have even played on in games with broken bones To see a professional react like this to a slight knock to his side is sickening.

Maybe he is doing this because he wants to leave? Maybe he got sent off last week on purpose. Some people suspect so. what do you think?
