either way, Ronaldo is still a dirty cheat :)

Thats a game that could have finished in a 0-0 draw right. Like Liverpool v Stoke last week. Instead, we get a perfect goal disallowed while Man Utd get penalties for nothing when they need them. The refs in the premiership are so poor anyway. Mike Riley ruined the game between Liverpool and Everton today. He blew for everything. Cahill should not have been sent off and Torres had a perfect goal disallowed.

All the big teams get most of the decisons in their favour. However every penalty man utd do get theres always someone saying "again man utd get a penalty at home" even if its a spot on penalty. People alot of the time just jump on the bandwagon.

^^ Spot on. I havn't seen the incident yet but I work near Old Trafford and spoke to some fans on their way home and they said it wasn't a penalty but Ronaldo and the other United players didn't even appeal for one.

Just saw the highlights of Arsenal and Hull. As usual they were trying to walk the ball into the goal. Arsenal are so over-rated. Their defense is shit. Defending is part of football too. They must have forgotten this.

I saw the Man Utd penalty decision. Its a disgraceful decision by the ref.

Spurs went tits up against Pompey. They could really use some reinforcements.

Chelsea and Pool are off to a good start. Villa will tumble down soon from that third place, losing 3-0 to Chelsea next week. Utd will begin their ascent up the list next week with Rovers away. West Ham will win vs. Bolton and for now cling on to the top spots.

Arsenal is really blowing hot and cold these days. Their inconsistency is becoming consistent, lol.

City is shi'ite. I just want to see them fail 'cos of the ridiculous money that they have and the expectations associated with it. Sure, you have a bunch of good players (Micah, Kompany, Robinho, Elano) but it also needs to be a team. And I'm not 100% convinced they are. And even if you are, then you can play with the top boys. But beating the top boys and merely playing with the top boys is a different tune altogether. Look at Spurs. And also, despite all the money, if the results aren't coming in, you really think a club like Man City can hold on to a Micah Richards or a Stephen Ireland when these players are fully matured around 27/28 and are 100% ready for the big league stage?

Hell no imo.

^^dont forget Dunne. He was their player of the year for the past 4 seasons.

and in fairness they have loads of young British and Irish players coming through. You cant fault them for that. Players like Richards,Evans, Johnson,Onouha,Sturridge Ireland and Hart have all come through the ranks there and have all got chances in the first team. Dont forget that SWP came up through the youth system at Man City.

Oh no don't get me wrong. I think it's excellent that all those young players are getting playtime. Thats the way it should be. But if they (Man City) keep troddling away points then those players will want to leave in a few years.

Although I have to say that having a great youth set-up does make having big ambitions a LOT easier. It also gives you bragging rights, lol. But yes, a lot of young quality peeping through the ranks there. Maybe if they keep the selection together for a few years, those young guns will gel together and make a kickass team in the 2012/2013 season.
