Figured I'd make a special thread since the Premier League is the most followed league on this forum, anyway.

This week's fun:

21/09/2008West Bromwich AlbionAston Villa 1-2
21/09/2008Tottenham HotspurWigan Athletic 0-0
21/09/2008Manchester CityPortsmouth 2-0
21/09/2008Hull CityEverton 1-0
21/09/2008ChelseaManchester United 1-1
20/09/2008SunderlandMiddlesbrough 2-0
20/09/2008Bolton WanderersArsenal 1-3
20/09/2008LiverpoolStoke City 0-0
20/09/2008West Ham UnitedNewcastle United 3-1
20/09/2008Blackburn RoversFulham 1-0

I'll say Chelsea and Utd are going to be fighting over the Championship. Liverpool will continue their poor domestic run. Arsenal is a bit young and will struggle. No one will penetrate the top 4, although a few teams may get close. Newcastle will be fighting to avoid relegation if they don't get their act together. Spurs will suck the entire season if they don't buy a few goal scorers in the wintertransferperiod. Pavlyuchenko is a work mule, not a clinical finisher. Having sold the Bulgar and Keane they're really thin up front. Bent isn't brilliant. West Ham will have a good season. Despite Sandeep's hopes and dreams, Barry will leave Villa in the next transfer period and Villa will be so-so at the end of the season. Somewhere midtable.
Stoke will surprise a few sides. Sunderland will have a decent season as well.

Portsmouth got spanked 6-0 by Manchster City, lol. David James just lost me a shit load of points in my fantasy team. Havn't seen the Man U game yet, but 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge isnt a bad result.

Not the Premiership but Championship, did anyone see the Reading goal? lol. The ball went 4 yards past the post and the Linesman gave the goal. They might have to replay the match now.

^^Didnt see the game but heard about it.Its only right that they replay it.

god, Ronaldo is the most sickening fucker. Anyone see his dives today. surely you Man Utd supporters are embarrassed by his actions at times. Its actions like these that will prevent him from being a true great imo.

True it was. So was when Ashley Cole and Hargreaves are running to the ball. Cole is behind Hargreaves...falls over...and claims he got elbowed in the face. Got a free kick too. Ballack fell over at any touch by Scholes.

Ronaldo's dive was quite something also. He jumped in the air even before Lampard got to him. lol...

As for Seb, I don't think he wants to come back. He'll have to face Bacho. lol

Anyone see City and Portsmouth. City tore them apart. Obviously Robinho and SWP(he is so skillful. he was wasted at Chelsea. good to see he has still got it) were good but Stephen Ireland was absolutely brilliant. I wish he would come back and play for Ireland again soon. We need a player with his talent.

It has to be said that Portsmouth were absolutely awful as well though

I wouldnt welcome Ireland back no matter how good he is, he has no pride in the green shirt.
i dunno man. i think there is more to it than we know about. I have a feeling he was bullied in the Irish set up. He has great potential. we cant pass up players like this. i hope he comes back soon.

I know we can't afford to pick and choose but theres just something about him that i don't like. Saying that, he played unreal the last day against Portsmouth

No I don't think hes bad. I just know hes bad.

Its a German thing you wouldn't know. Besides, guy hasn't done shit really. He should move back to Germany. Maybe the Chelsea system and English style of play isn't for him. Shevchenko realized that and moved back to Italy. He should do the same.
