The fact of this matter is that Pernia ran into Gerrard at speed. He fell and the linesman awarded Liverpool a penalty when he shouldnt have. Thats what happend. It obvious he was thinking about attacking the high ball that came in.

If someone runs into you from behind while you are jumping through the air, what will happen?

i dont think it was a penalty. As you can see Gerrard is going for the ball.So is Pernia. Gerrard falls after the two collide. ref gives a penalty.blame the ref not Gerrard.

Ah be quiet will ya. Manure are the poxxiest team that ever played the game. The last 2 European Cups they won were won by pure fluke. Chelseas were the better team in the champions league final last year. Then they send John Terry up to miss a penalty. He slips on his arse and the ball goes of the post.

Manure supporters are the biggest hypocrites. When United were the poxxiest team around in the 90's, they won so many games they played shit in with last minute goals and dodgy decisions. But ye all said that its the sign of a great team. Playing poorly and still winning. Now Liverpool does the same in a few games and all ye do is bitch about how lucky they are this season.

I also find it funny that the English guys on here hate their own players so much. If the likes of Terry and Gerrard played with us, they would be heroes regardless of what club they play for.
