This is kind of a random question, but who here knows what the Illuminati is? Who has actually heard about it, read about it, etc?

I'm just curious to see what other people have to say about it. I know it may be hard for some people, but refrain from moronic posts. Like I said, it's a random question and I didn't just start looking into it, but i'm curious to see what people have to say about it.

There were already a few threads about it. I think it's a one big conspiracy theory. I remember reading a lot about it but it's just too crazy. When people talk about it here it's usually in jokes. I think nobody believes in it and people who do also believe in those WTC or Titanic theories.

The Illuminati was a real organization at one time. Nobody really knows if the still exist today. Many people speculate that they do however they may not actually call themselves the Illuminati, they may go by some other name but this is just what people on the outside will call them. Many people will lump the Illuminati in with the New World Order and the Masons (although the Masons aren't that hard to become a member of).

There are many theories out there ont the subject. One of the most interesting ones I have come across and heard spoken on is that the New World Order and Illuminati are actually two different groups. Both have similar goels and want to control the planet. They just have different ways about how they want to go about doing it and how they see the world should be run and they are actually at war with one another in a sense.

It is kind of funny you bring up secret societies. I'm currently trying to join the Son of the Revolution. National Society Sons of the American Revolution

Where would the Skull and Bones fit in all that?
Skull and Bones is just a very old and exclusive frat. It is probably the best networking frat to be apart of in the U.S. There are many legacy members who have relatives that were influencial members and went on to high positions in corporate world and politics. Like with most things in the working world it is about who you know. Being a member of Skull Bones lets you know all the right people.

There is actually a very good special issue of Newsweek that came out about year ago or more. The entire issue was about secret societies. It went very indepth into the history of the Mason, Illuminati, and others that have come and gone throughout time. I don't think you would be able to find it on the net but if you can it is a good read.

As in the New World Order?
Masons I believe.

Also there is one big hint that the Illuminati still excist;

The Great American Seal;

The seal is used to authenticate certain documents issued by the US Federal Government.

Many have seen this seal many times, but have you ever seen the reverse of the seal?

The Illuminati logo above the unfinished pyramid. It also bares the words "a new order of the ages" written in Virgil, that is where "New World Order" was devised from.

Right. Like Illuminattile (think he's a member? ROFLROFLRORLFLROROEGIOGDRHJKERJ) and Puff said, there definitely was an Illuminati but when people talk about the Illuminati/The New World Order/Freemasons nowadays in the sense of some organization controlling the world it's a conspiracy theory.
If the Queen pledged "allegiance" to the Masons then it's not the secret society bullshit but the actual Freemasons.

"Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around 5 million, with around 480,000 in England, Scotland and Ireland alone, and just under two million in the United States"

That's from wikipedia ... not so secret.

Many people look at the logo on the back of the dollar bill to mean that but it does not exactly translate to "New World Order". If you take New World Order and try to translate it to latin it does not come out to be Novus Ordo Seclorum. The latin word actually is referring to a new American era, which makes sense when you put that phrase together with the Roman numerals at the bottom of the pyramid, which says 1776.

Many will argue that the eye above the pyramid represents big brother. However, it is often called the unfinished pyramid. Since this design was created in 1782 it could be argued that the pyramid actually represents the U.S. as a country or the government because it was not yet complete and will never be "complete" since it can always be changing and the country too (i.e. growing, adding states, new amendments, political parties). The eye has also been viewed to represent God.

Also if take notice there are 13 layers to the pyramid and 13 letters in Annuit Coeptis. That was not done by mistake.

The Queen has spoken openly about her affiliation with them.
Was she in Reptilian form at the time?

The Illuminati logo above the unfinished pyramid.
1) the eye of Providence predates the Illuminati by a long time.

2) the design of the seal was put forward before the Illuminati could have possibly spread to America

3) there is no evidence to suggest that the Illuminati used the eye of Providence as a symbol

It also bares the words "a new order of the ages" written in Virgil, that is where "New World Order" was devised from.
That's not where term "New World Order" comes from. It means "New Order of the Ages".

There are some good sites about the Illuminati on the web, they're just outnumbered by the really bad ones.

I have this audio interview with this lady named Svali. She at one time was a member of the Illuminati who trained other people in doing certain things. She eventually got out. It's a pretty fucked up interview when you listen to the things shes talking about. She talks about being at the Vatican for a ritual and there was a little boy sacrificed in front of her. When you think about the fact that the things she says can be true..

EDIT: Here's that interview I was talking about..

This thread went wrong way. You really have to be mentally retarded to join illuminati or something that shares similar views. It's just crazy and evil and the worst thing is that they make even more people crazy by some shitty propaganda. Sad thing is that uneducated people could fall for it, there you go your freedom of speech. In China they'd get fucked before they even said a word and it would be the proper way to handle things sometimes :D

No I dont, just saw that video while searching for random shit on youtube.
Unlike some of his fans, Canibus clearly doesn't believe everything he raps about.

He's a crazy emcee though. And he's good to his fans, he puts fan-made blends up on his Myspace all the time (including some of mine).

The Illuminati (the real one, the original one) were anti-religion, why would they be sacrificing kids at the Vatican?
