If Lebron makes it past the Celtics I'll buy an Ilugaskas jersey and wear it with assless chaps in front of the ruins of the Magnolia projects at night. This whole series isn't a good look for Kevin Garnett or Doc Rivers. KG should've forced his will on the floor tonight or in game 4 like a star player's supposed to. I've decided Doc's a mediocre coach who got lucky with The Trade and getting Tom Thibodeaux (someone give this dude a HC job) running his defense. The guy's basically flipping a coin when it comes to close games.

Agreed. He ran two horrible plays for them in the end. One in particular was when they were down 2 points with 20 seconds to go. Why the hell are you shooting a three with 10 seconds to go? Horrible.

And with the last play....whoever had the ball, I think Rondo...the fuck was that about...it's like he wasn't even paying attention to the clock.

Kobe and Lebron are/were two legit contenders for MVP.

I would say Chris Paul too but he is still young and has not proven that he can be dominant year after year. This is only his first season where he was dominant and on top of his game.

Kobe and Lebron and especially Kobe have shown year after year that they can be dominant.

As much as I dislike Kobe for personal reasons, it would be kind of unfair to not give him because he has been in the league long time and he has won 3 titles, was a scoring champion, all defensive team and stuff. But he has never won the MVP so he kind of deserves more than anything.

But I would still wait until the playoffs and see how long Cleveland and L.A. would go into the playoffs and how well both Lebron and Kobe play and than make a decision.

MVP is strictly for the regular season. It does not depend on playoff performance. These are clear rules for the people who decide the winner of the MVP trophy. Plus, I believe the votes are cast before the playoffs start.

Why not? You are confident to say that Celtics will win Sunday so it only makes sense to do it. What you loosing? nothing. They'll will win right and you'll get to stay here.
I really hope you don't think you're being clever here. You're like a 12 year old pulling on a grown man's pant leg. Shoo.

I'm only going by what you said.

You seem to be more concerned about losing the privilege of posting on the Internet forum than Celtics losing on Sunday.

The playoffs continue to be intersting. First the Spurs kill the Suns but fall for the hornets? Are these hornets for real? Of course they only took care of the first game and you just know the Spurs gonna come back with a strong game 2, but you can't overlook the Hornets no longer. Besides all expectations the east is intersting too, the Celtics go over 7 games, the pistons start week but show Orlando that they gathered themself like it seems. Fun 2 watch.

Thats only finals MVP.
No it's not, it's for the whole playoffs. Just think about it. Obviously the person who gets finals MVP is the person whose team won the championship. With that said, why would you give the finals MVP to someone whose team got put out in the 2nd round?

It means that that particular player was the MVP of the whole playoffs because he did what it took to get his team the champ.
