Rockstar themselves said last year that the game will be the exact same on both consoles but if they had to chose one version over the other, they would go for the 360 version because of additional content.

I played it on both consoles, and I don't own any of them yet.
PS3 version IS better. Better graphics, colors and most of all shorter texture loading time. I'm just not sure about controls.

I've played it on both consoles now and didn't notice anything different. If there is any difference it's pretty minimal.

hah I had a day with my friend's 360 and GTA4.
Lmao at Polish motives in this game. I jacked a car and heard "co to kurwa jest?" ("what the fuck is it?"), or while shooting on the street someone screamed "kurwa mac" :D
I can't stand driving in this game. Other than that controls are similar to those on my Xbox and San Andreas.
And those textures loading are worse than in Vice city!

No they didn't but it doesn't matter. I posted an article by Sam Houser talking about which version he liked best on this thread.

The PS3 version has the edge as it has faster loading times, better anti aliasing and a few other things, read the comparisons on the games websites, I posted like 4-5 articles here comparing both. It's nothing much to shout about, it's the same game.

From the article that goes along with this video

For those wanting to know which version looks better, the edge goes to the PS3. The textures and framerate are comparable, but the PS3 has far less pop-in. The 360 has richer colors, but the PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. Don't worry Xbox owners, the load times are rarely more than 30 seconds and don't occur very often. The slight visual edge goes to PS3, but the 360 is no slouch. Either version will do you proud.

It's a great game but I'm not blown away by it as much as I thought I would be. The multiplayer is supposed to be really fun but haven't tried that yet either. I'm kinda disappointed that they didn't add customizable cars or allow you to buy properties in this.

The driving is less favorable but it doesn't destroy the game. I DO wish i could drive like San Andreas and look on both sides of the car with R2 and L2, but its not tooo bad. Doing drivebys is definately a hassle though. Now that IS a bad thing. But with everything else in this game, i guess I could live with it. (ROCKSTAR! BRING BACK L2 AND R2 DRIVEBYS! PLZ)

The driving doesn't suck but it's more realistic this time, you'll get used to it quickly. I'm ripping through streets now :D
Its hard gettin used to. Every time I'm chasing somebody, I slam in a wall or something. I'm surprised I came in 1st with that Brucie race mission. A lot of times, I'd just take taxies though.

Oh, and I'm still waiting to own you in online Paul
