giants and pats.... i think the packers are really overrated.. or misjudged.. the nfc is weak.. just cuz they had a good record, convert it to the afc and it would have been more like a 10-6 season

you doubt Brett Favre's commitment to win one last Super Bowl. look what they did to the Seahawks. the G-Men won't know what hit them when Old Man Favre slaps it on them. Fuck Eli.

the latter, and he's done a fine job of doing that this year, he's played amazingly well this year, and it doesn't hurt that he now has a team to keep up with him. he shoulda been named comeback player of the year. with that said, the Pack will crush puny Eli and the Giants, but they will lose against the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Giants will have to travel to Lambeau to play them and Pretty Boy Eli won't stand a chance against the Packers strong defense, won't be able to stop Grant and definitely won't be able to stop Favre's arm..
Then again the Giants have won 9 in a row on the road, but still they'll lose.. At least they better I got a 100 bucks ridin on the game..

Butt Packers vs. Patriots in the super bowl

im thinking i might be able to pull this one off and say that the giants will win... not kill, but they will get the W... even if it's close or a cheap call occurs... maybe..

the packers beat them like 38-13 in week 2 BEFORE we even started using ryan grant (the leading rusher in the league since he started starting), not to mention we average 11 points more a game with him starting. plus homefield advantage? are you kidding? i'm more willing to bet that the second coming of jesus will happen before sunday, than the packers losing.

Pats
Giants

Defense is the key to the Giants success, if they can get pressure on Farve they will win this game, as we have seen in there last two wins they have put a lot of pressure on opposing QB's (Jeff Garcia, Tony Romo).

Im going for the upset here. But I wont be upset if Greenbay gets in either. But the game the Giants played against the Pats at the end of the season was probably the best game I have seen all season and I would love to see a repeat of that in the super bowl.

First five games of the season the Giants had no Defense, they are now one of the elite defenses in the league and have proven it in the last two playoff games.

Using week two scores and stats proves nothing other than they beat them, the Cowboys beat the Giants in both regular season games and they lost on sunday. The Giants are nothing like that team from week two, they really like the underdog roll as well which means they have nothing to lose. Which means they are deadly and not to be overlooked like you are doing now.

Their defense was not great against the Cowboys at all. The Cowboys were walking all over the Giants, but then they kept getting penalized. I was pulling for the Giants the entire game, but it really was a fluke. Mark my words, they lose by 9 points or more.

if the Packers should win the super bowl. i think Favre should retire. win the MVP at the SB and go out on top like Elway did won he won the MVP against the Falcons

i can def. see the giants use the rush to beat the packers... if eli manning doesnt do well, just give it to bradshaw or jacobs.... sure the packs have the passing game, but favre does stupid shit under pressure sometimes... and it doesnt always work out for the best... the giants CBs last week werent even the starters right??? werent they back ups due to injuries?? and they didnt allow a whole lotta damage.. some yards, but just one score against one of the strongest offenses in the league?

see, people always say that and think that, but those stupid mistakes could have just as easily been 6 points instead of an INT. it's just Brett's style, he's a gunslinger. he always takes chances, some work and some don't. which is why Favre has the record for most career TD's, AND has the record for most career interceptions. those stupid decisions don't seem so stupid when they work, and for the most part they all seem to be working pretty well this year.

of course that's not to say they can't be beaten, the Giants defense looks outstanding right now, when you can plug in the backups at key spots in a pinch and not suffer for it you know you're in a good groove. i'm going for the Pack, but i'm also a firm believer in any given sunday, which is why i don't bet on any games when all of my friends do lol.

Think so? I don't. I don't think he'd do it either. He's so in love with the game, that I think he's going to play until he believes he is physically unable to. If you lead your team to a Superbowl victory, you are still clearly physically able to play.
