*Why America isn't ready for a female president?

*Is America ready for a female president? Why or Why not?

Debate/Discuss. What are your thoughts? Lets hear some good points.

IMO I think it would be pretty interesting to see a women president because they are more sensitive and stuff so who knows how the world might end up with a woman as a leader?
she might take more serious things into matter like abortion and otehr things and she would have a different view than a man would. it could either be both a good thing and a bad thing.

but there is a downfall though cause what if she gets PMS or sumthing or shes on her metopause and shet and than she might end up ordering to bomb China or sumthing ahahaha.

It would be interesting to see that happen...but I just don't believe America's going to put another Clinton into the whitehouse, not that Clinton was bad or anything...but still...Hilary doesn't have an validity to her..and i'm getting tired of her constantly saying "i helped bill make the decisions" ok? fuck off.

SOFI is right. But its a colour thing, so i want Obama to win.lol

Edit: The more interesting question would be: Is America ready for an atheistic president?

It's already clear that America doesn't want a female or black president. If it turns out one gets elected, I'll wonder why and for what purpose.

Remember, everything happens for a reason.

i don't think there would be a problem with a female president, but i think there are major problems with this particular female running for president. but it's a moot point because Hillary won't win.

im not gonna give a reason, but i think the world works better when everything's fueled by testosterone... when points are made with the threat of someone nuking your punk ass rather than sitting down and making peace... if a woman came, i think she'd try and take a more peaceful approach and try and talk things out... but she'll just end up being taken as a joke and end up giving the president of sudan head and then coming home...

ok so i explained kinda...

Then again, by your logic if the world was run by estrogen there wouldn't be any threat of someone nuking your punk ass in the first place.

Yes men and women are genetically predisposed to act a certain way, like any animal, but there's a little thing called the power of thinking which allows us to ignore our instincts. Like S O F I said, it's not about sex, it's about someone's personality.

I'd gladly see a female president in the US simply because it would widen the selection of possible candidates, increasing the chances of a good president running the country.

Hmmm, I don't see the clearness in no one wanting Obama to be president, he did win the 1st primary, and has a damn good shot at winning the primary in New Hampshire where 42% of Independents would support Obama.. As long as 50 and younger people keep getting to the polls (all signs are pointin toward this), Obama has a great shot at winning the nomination...

That was obvious, but doesn't change the past.

lol, what are you on about, you don't have to change the past to elect a black president. so far it looks like he's winning, so if he does win, i guess history will rewrite itself in that moment. if it were so obvious, why don't you think he'll win?

Your right, but it still doesn't change what already happen. The past can reflect on the future. Black men, other then Obama have tried running for presidency before. Racism hasn't really improved at all. Discrimination against women has improved only a little. The future does have a better outlook then the past, but it still doesn't change what has already happen and the people that were in hardship because of it.

if it were so obvious, why don't you think he'll win?
I do think he will win.

Riddle: What is America using as a "secret weapon" in this years presidency election to try and stop the black man from running?

Answer: A middle-aged white women.

Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton, with the first three holding 20 years. So add another four you got 24 and add eight then its 28years and two families.. It will never happen.. It would be cool if a women could be prez why not right? just not this one. Ps its a set up from the get up. You got a woman with the last name Clinton, A Black man with a name tha sounds a lot like Iraq Osama and then really alls thats left is Mr.Rudy"911"Guliani ( dont know how 2 spell his name) y'all tell me..
