Equal worth (do we have it as humans?)

well, i would value your life to $1000 if someone offered it.

You are not responsible for my life. However, you are responsible for yourself and your own actions. Is the responsibility of you being guilty of murder worth $1000?

It's like you would be being paid for your actions, not my life.My life would have no worth in the courtroom when you're being sentenced. It would be your own actions that would have great worth and sway over your future freedom.

I feel your argument is impartial and unconvincing. For I have just prooved that even if you did take my life, my life would still hold no worth. Unless you could proove that I was worth killing, lol.

If someone asked me to pay $1000 to save your life, I would not. We can thus deduce that the value of your life to me is somewhere between $0 and $1000.

Well baby, I live in the uk, allied with america. I guess that puts me on top of the food and weapon chain. The fourth biggest economy in the world. There are a lot of people just risking their lives just to get into this country. Whereas I am a native resident, I think that makes my life is worth a lot more than a mere $1000 don't you? $1000 is pocket money to me.

I'm not actually saying that you're worth $1000 or less. The point was to show you that there are ways of applying value, even if they are entirely subjective. But then again, isn't all value subjective? I may value a pizza at $8, whereas you may be willing to pay $9.50 for it. Nothing has an "inherent" value. Values are assigned and determined by perspective.
