Technology Need Help

I keep getting this error ''not responding''. Sometimes when I surf the Internet and viewing sites and what not, it freezes for five to six seconds, and if i click anywhere on the page then it displays ''not responding'' thing on top where site name is written.

Also, when I'm typing and what not, it freezes as well.

This started to happen just recently. Its annoying as fuck.

What do you think is causing this problem? What should I do? Clear cookies,run adaware? I've done all this but still won't help.

Maybe this can help you. If it is saying "not responding" on the title bar of the program that means more than likely the program has crashed.

Yea it says ''not responding'' on the title bar of the whatever site i'm using, but it eventually comes back to normal after few seconds. But it does this a lot, constantly and its annoying.

Also, as i was writing this reply to you just now... i had like 7 or 8 times where letters stopped typing and froze for a second or two, but then came right back on. Its strange.

Clean your computer. Might be a overheating issue due to too much dust clogging everything.

If that does not work format your hard drive.

If it still persists you have a hardware problem. In that case take it to a computer repair shop and they'll find out what hte problem is.

you have a virus on your hard drive... you need to clean it.... that means fill up your bathtub with water and some bubble soap and slowly dunk it into it chanting "aaaaaaah alayaloha.....alayalohalalalalalalalaaaaa yukaputamantata jandala gastahalampatigasha!!!!" then kick it down the stairs a couple times... and then put it back inside the compiter while the computer is still on....

If you reformat, you will lose all of your files. It is pretty much a last rsot, if your comp has so much shit on it can't be cleansed

Ok I'm trying to format C drive but it won't let me. It says ''quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, make sure no window is displaying the contents of the drive then try again''.

But i'm not using any program.
