You think there is a difference between xbo live players and other players. Halo seems like a new age trendy game to me, no good story to it, just multi player is what gets it to be big, which there is no problem with. But there are those players who sat there and played FF7 for 60+ hours and enjoy that way more then multi player games and halo for that matter. I like them both but i think thats where we get those fanatics who live and die by their system. Maybe thats just dumb also...
Bio Shock sucked. Dont get me wrong gameplay and everything is fine, but I sat there and beat it in two sittings, some bullshit. Halo was worse. Stupid multi player sometimes, takin away from the actual game.

Halo has probably got one of the most complex stories in a first person shooter ever. Fuck, Halo 2 had an alien political and religious jihad feud sub plot.
And Id rather play multiplayer with some friends for a couple hours a week than spend 60+ hours locked in my room playing Final Fantasy type games. Thats what attracts me to Live, and systems like the Wii, over the PS3 at the moment. It's a fantastic system spec wise, but its just not as enjoyable for me as the 360 or Wii; for different reasons.

I don't care about halo anyway. I don't like fps games, especially on consoles. I have xbox now and I only played halo for like 15-20 minutes. I won't also play online (modchip).
I play fighting and gta-like games on consoles mostly. Sometimes sports, TPS and rpg's but they bore me quite fast.
I will also enjoy better possibilities like Blu-ray player.
My console+ hd monitor is my movie center when I turn off my pc.
So ps3 is the way to go for me I guess.
But I also don't want to spend my money on it yet.
I'll wait some more how the situation/prices will develop.

At first, I only met 1 person with a PS3, then I bought it from him. But now I'm seeing more people with PS3s but still, more people owning 360s. faggots overhyped the game... it was a ground-breaking game back in 2001... where else could you get graphics like that, ride vehicles and then play it online? sure you can name a dozen shooters that are better... what're you gonna say, half life 2? COD4? i sure hope they were better given that they were released 7 years later..

Microsoft did a huge price drop for 360 arcade so it costs like 300$ here now, while the cheapest ps3 costs.. more than 650$. It's more than twice as much.
I want ps3 more, and with every day it's getting far more superior to 360 but 360 is much cheaper.

I think the ps3 series are much better, especially those that are coming out now.

Ps3 - blueray and with every game it gets better graphics, now definately more superior to xbox360 graphics.

Okay, so hasn't it come down to this:
360 is great. PS3 is supposedly better hardware wise. Some people suggested that when developers learn the console in and out for real, it will kill the 360. That turned out to basically be a bunch of bull crap, although the PS3 still is slightly better or faster than the 360 if you measure by megahertz and bytes of memory. Have I gotten it right?

^Not at all. It's not supposedly better hardware wise, it is better. None of the developer talk has turned out to be a bunch of BS either...? Developers are saying they haven't reached the full potential of what it will do cus the market hasn't caught up yet, with games being released that is. Right now it doesn't really have anything to do with how they program the games, more of what consumers are buying and giving the steady climb to eliteness, heh. The newer the games the better they will be pretty much.
