Tupac's ambiguity

#1
I'm talking about the ambiguity in 2pacs lyrics, where something he said has more than one meaning or reference.

Example:

"I packed a 9 and my nigga packed a 45" - pour out a little liquor

> he doesn't say 'guns', and yet he doesn't mention 'clocks' either: the number 9 on a clock also marks number 45

or..

"Gotta nigga wantin' it so bad I'm about to pass out" - How do you want it

> there are many meanings to the words pass out, it fits though to say tupac is talking about either fainting or delivering something eg: pass out fliers, pass out punches etc

or..

"Will I suck seed? paranoid from the weed" - only god can judge me

> is tupac talking about accomplishment, or is he just concerned that there is seeds in his blunt?

"There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest
I'm barely standin, bout to go to pieces, screamin peace" - me against the world

> going to pieces? could be interpreted as breaking down or multiplying

I posted this to raise awareness on the depth of Tupac's lyrics, and especially, on the different ways in how his words can be interpreted. When you consider, like I have shown above, that many words/phrases have more than one meaning - then a different interpretation can offer a different perspective on what is being communicated. And ok, some of the things I've pointed out aren't politically correct, but who said 2pac's lyrics were politically correct? In fact they are not.

lol yea its succeed, not seed, and for the "There was no mercy on the streets, I couldn't rest
I'm barely standin, bout to go to pieces, screamin peace" i dont think u can interpret "pieces" any other way than breakin down cause he clearly explained the stress he felt

When I listen to this I heard him say "I'm barely standing, bout to go to peace, screamin peace" as in he's about to die so he'll finally be at peace, while yelling goodbye(peace)

So many of his lyrics had 2 meanings (2pac) he was a Gemini, angel on one shoulder devil on the other, whoever posted this topic just wanted to use the word ambiguity i think, but we all know what hes talking about, he just didnt know how to describe it by example....... obviously! That shit was funny tho. Sorry.

A lot of reasons for the alive theories is that his lyrics were extremely ambiguous. The message from his music as a whole is for people to think the ambiguity in his lyrics ensures it.

I deliberately spelt out 'suck-seed' (suc-ceed: sounds the same!) on purpose to try and explain my point; how tupac would layer his lyrics over more than one concept.

I was hoping that people would have provided some more examples of 2pac's use of double-concepts.

The most obvious example would be me and my girlfriend. Those of you who don't understand would probably would laugh your ass off even more if I told you he was really talking about is Gun.

Bet when he raps "zig-zaggin' through the freeway" in Nothin' to Loose, you motherfuckers think hes talking about a motorway, don't ya bytch?
