recently, maybe 3 months ago, i purchased a new computer.

maybe 2 weeks after i bought it i went to start it and it said some shit like "windows can not start windows/system could not be located"

those arent the exact words, but i was wondering if anyone knew what might be happening. so far ive been forced to re format my computer twice and it kinda blows, i dont want this to keep happening, and yes its under warranty i was just wondering if any of you know what im talkin about.

edit: im running windows xp media edition

just get them to fix/replace it under warrenty, the fact that it happened so soon means theres something majorly wrong.

My PC is really fucking annoying me, every time I turn it on Im getting a BSD (Blue Screen Of Death), even stranger is the fact that all I have to do is press reset, the PC/Windows boots fine, I get a "Windows Has Recovered From A Serious Error" message on my screen, and then my PC runs perfectly, been doing this for a month now.

Probably your ram is buggy. When you turn your pc off after few minutes rams empty themselves. When you turn on your pc they have to load the system but fail because of error and give you blue screen. After restart they still have system data in memory, they have less files to load - that's why it works like nothing happened.

Of course that's just a theory but the most realistic imo
