^^Ronaldo was absolutely shit against Milan last season especially after Gattuso shouldered him out over the sideline in the second leg.

I wouldnt consider Kaka a great player yet either but he is the best in the World. His performances throughout last season's Champions league were outstanding and he deserved to win the golden ball.

Kaka has struggled this season in Serie A. Notice Milan only started winning when Ronaldo and Pato were available to play.

Robinho has been one of the best and consistant performers this season however, some of his play has been just awesome, hes improved every part of his game it seems. Plus..hey he does it in big games :p

^^ah fuck was it his knee?. I think his career is over. He is constantly getting injured. There was rumours going around that he was going to retire at the end of the season.

Now i would class him as a great player.

Ronaldo...my favourite sports star at all time..if he retires due to this injury i will cry...i will probably cry right now :( this sucks.

He severed a tendon in his kneecap..he was in tears as he was been streched off...similar scenes to his first bad injury in 2000? Bonera said it was the same thing..

:( im going to turn emo now.

his record is 3 goals every 4 games. Which player (in the modern era) can compete with that?

Awesome player, hands down the greatest player ive ever seen on a week to week basis (not some clips here and there)

^^yea both were great players.i hope Ronaldo can return at some level. That is some record thuggy. He had some burst of speed and his finishing was awesome. very skillful as well.I always look forward to a game more when he is going to be playing. I was really looking forward to the Arsenal game to see him in action again.

if you look at what the likes of Zidane and Ronaldo have achieved in their careers, you have to admit that C Ronaldo has a long way to go yet before people should start putting him in the same category.

Marco Tardelli will be Ireland's assistant manager.Hopefully he will run down the pitch screaming when Ireland qualify for the next world cup.:D

I agree that Cristiano has a lot to prove before you can put him in the same class, but you have to bear in mind that Zidane was still playing in Ligue 1 for Bordeaux when he was 23.

I feel sorry for him, it's a shame. The greatest player of my era though was Zidane, untouchable.
Although I would class Zidane in the same bracket as I did Ronaldo earlier, during the Galactio era at Madrid, Ronaldo constantly dragged Real Madrid up the table and shone more than the others (Zidane/Figo/Raul).

^^Yea and the stick the Real Madrid supporters gave him was disgraceful. Fair enough he was a bit heavy towards the end but he scored 83 goals in 127 games for them.
