Anyone seen this floating about the web? I've seen it on a few football forums, apparently it's a Premiership footballer's wage slip, supposedly John Arne Riise's:

Salary: £120,000
Points Bonus: £250
Appearance: £4000
2006/2007 Champions League Salary Increase: £15,384.62

Total Gross Pay: £139,634.62

deductions:-

PAYE Tax: £55,508.28
NIC: £1611.67
Meals: £65
Ticket Deductions: £36.00

Total Deductions: £57,220.95

Net Pay: £82,413.67

Dated: 01/09/2006

That's £120,000 a month, right? Please tell me he's not on £120,000 a week?! This article says he's on about £50,000 a week, which would be £200,000 a month, so I guess he got a wage rise since last year.

Regardless, how prodigal do you have to be to make £80k a month and still end up bankrupt?

Judging by the fingers holding the slip, a bum picked it up from the garbage container.
Wait...you're suggesting that there might be bindippers in Liverpool? That's a shocking allegation.

Some great goals in the premiership today especially Young, Belletti , Primus and Carsley.

Man Utd v Arsenal was a good match. A fair result i suppose.

Liverpool were poor again. Why does he persist in playing Dirk Kuyt? He is such a poor player imo. I have never thought much of him since he joined Liverpool. When he cut in from the right, he should have made a better angle for himself and shot with his left foot to the far left corner. A good striker would have done so but then his second miss towards the end shows that he has no left foot either.
