i'm not sure if this should be here or in tech talk, but i'll post it here anyway. so i downloaded The Simpsons Movie (not gonna pay to see it, because the show is iffy, and the movie was written by the current writers) but when i finished downloading and went to play it, all that plays is this message: This media file can only be played using 3wPlayer that is completely free, please visit go.play3w.com to download. now i've never gotten anything like this, so naturally i'm suspicious. does anyone have or has anyone ever used 3wPlayer? or is it some bullshit i shouldn't even mess with?

tried it with vlc player, got the same shit, so i said fuck it and deleted it. my normal rule is if it tells you to download something, don't do it, but i just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it or not.

Yeah I hate installing pointless software, like Veoh player. I dont understand why the dont just stream veoh movies instead of making you download the player and then download the film in veoh format. pointless shit.
