Technology 360 vs. ps3

One of my friends traded in his 360 for a ps3. True story.
Right now you see a lot of comparison videos of games on both systems and they are pretty much the same. I think the ps3 has more upside to it though. Once developers take time and utilize the full potential of the system people will see the difference. But then Halo 3 is comin out soon so....... I still prefer ps3, but I dont think you can lose with either one. Just what I think.

I always loved Sony systems until I got a 360. 360 has better game selection and no company can touch Xbox Live. Alot of free games/ stuff to download, you can also buy all the old school games for cheap. Multi-player on live is the shit cause there are tons of people on there to play your favorite multi-player games. PS3 is overpriced only because of the blue-ray player but who wants to pay 25-30 dollars for a blue-ray movie? From what I have seen the graphics aren't any better on the PS3. The PS3 doesn't even come with HD cables or the HDMI cable so that's spending even more than the already high pricetag.
Also, there will more than likely be a blue-ray add-on for the 360 like they have the HD-DVD because I'm thinking blue-ray will win the war. Xbox Live takes the cake for me and the graphics are just sick.

I have a PS3 an had a 360. Both have there ups an downs. Ps3's downs? The cost, lack of games at the moment. 360's downs, sounds like a turbo jet ready to take off, has a high failure rate which Microsoft has yet to address. I am not a fan boy period that shit is dumb. I liked my 360 when i had it, good selection of games, was fun.
But I had ta get rid of it before the ring of death occurred! not just that but PS3 is getting alot of flack right now cause they are a lil slow out the gate but I think over all its gonna be the best system to have its potential hasn't even come close to being used yet. Anyway its really up to you an what you enjoy an can afford. cant afford $600 go with 360 its a good system i would buy an extended warranty though. if you can afford whatever go with PS3 its an awesome system as well.

Im wondering that as well when did PS3 fail? the system is only what 6 months old? 360 had a year head start. PS3 hasn't failed yet hell its complete ability has yet to be fully tapped into. If its because a few of titles that were once Playstation exclusives and are now not (ie Ace Combat) thats not a failure, thats business! I think in a year from now things will be much different.
I love my xbox 360. I was all ways a Playstation fan, I hate the Xbox. Then my friend got a 360 and I was hooked. I hear so much bad shit about PS3 it puts me off ever wanting one, there is only one game I want to play that will be PS3 only, and that MGS4. Also, I'll be playing GTAIV before you PS3 Owners 
If you haven't got either yet, i would hold off till at least the end of the year or even till Spring of '08. No games to speak of for the PS3 right now. And X-box 360s still have too many issues.
Sony says they will have out over 300 games by Spring of next year. By then, Microsoft may have worked out their 360 problems and pricing may come down on the PS3, and that will be the time to decide.

I had to house sit for a family friend and they had a ps3 and I had to take it back cus it ate a disc, it wouldnt come out. I took it to best buy and they said it happens all the time, they said they get bout 1-2 every other week. Then the guy told me they get 6-8 360's returned a week. So I would guess 360 has more problems, which is known, cus people are still complaining about problems MS hasnt even addressed yet.
People want the P S 3, they know it's technically better but they can't justify the price so they fall into denial and claim the 3 6 0 superiority, plus look at the sales...
One other thing is, I don't want to play Duck Hunt 2007 and pretend like it's a revolution. I would much rather sit, press a bunch of buttons when I'm supposed to and have the HD visual spectacle water my eyes.
I liked Mac OS 9 on my 500 MHz Power Book but I would much rather have Leopord on Duo Core Pro.

After having a lengthy conversation about MySpace whores and console gaming with Pauly, I've decided to trade-in my 360 for a PS3. I purchased the 360 almost a year ago, and I've enjoyed it. But when it comes to gaming consoles, I am buying a piece of technology much like the computers I buy and Playstation 3 is, without a doubt, the better technology.

yes the 360 has a failure rate high. tell me about it the 360 i bought to my bf we had to get it exchanged once at the store and then a few months later sent to xbox to fix it. and their customer service is SHIT. but the ps3 is really expensive. premium 360 here is 499.99 and premium ps3 is 659.99. there is a huge difference in price. the ps3's price is killing it.
