Chris Benoit and Family found dead!

thanks to whoever merged this with the other article, i only posted it separately so people would see it and read it, whereas this thread has been dead for several days now.

there seem to be a lot of unanswered questions in this case. i still believe that Chris did it, but i'm no longer thoroughly convinced of it. i haven't heard that puff, do you have a link to an article or something?

The District Attorney of Fayette County in Georgia, Scott Ballard, issued the following statement this afternoon to gossip website TMZ.com:

"There are additional reports that contradict the earlier information that suggested that Daniel Benoit may have suffered from Dwarf Syndrome or Fragile X Syndrome. Daniel's family denies that he suffered from either condition. As a result of the family's concerns, the Fayette County Sheriff's investigators and the District Attorney's Office have inquired into this matter. A source having access to certain of Daniel's medical reports reviewed those reports, and they do not mention any pre-existing mental or physical impairment. Reports from Daniel's educators likewise contradict the claims that Daniel was physically undersized. The educators report that Daniel graduated kindergarten and was prepared to enter the first grade on par with the other students."

here it is. i still find it odd that there was no motive in this case at all, at least not one that we know of yet. usually in things like this it is over sex or money, but not in this case

well unfortunately, there are a lot of cases like this where there really is no motive, someone snaps and commits a horrible crime for no rational reason. stop and think of how many times you have read in the paper or heard on the news about something like this, and everyone says about the person who did it "he seemed like the nicest guy, he'd never hurt a fly."

that is interesting about his son, it seems that this information was yet another casualty in the ongoing saga of total misinformation in this case. what it really means in the long run, i have no idea. but this case is weird, no doubt about it.

edit: i just reread the article and have 2 things to say. one, that from what i have read and learned about Fragile X syndrome is that the effects do not become noticeable until puberty, so just because he doesn't appear to be showing any effects of the condition, that wouldn't mean he didn't have it. and the second, why would his educators be authorities on whether or not he was undersized? lol. of course neither of those really matter if medical records indicate he didn't have the condition.

well i don't know why i didn't think of this before, maybe because i was still holding out hope that he didn't do it, but if his son was put in the crossface, and had bruises on his face, wouldn't there be fingerprints there? i would imagine that the police have done fingerprinting by now in this case, and if they weren't Chris' prints, they would have indicated that someone else may be responsible. i think that is the key here, and why police are so convinced that Chris did it. come to think of it though, i don't even know if you can get fingerprints off of flesh, i'm not much of an expert in this department. anyone else know if the police are able to do this?
