Technology XBox 360

So...my PS2 broke. I dropped it on the floor. Now the door won't open.

What this means is, I can't play Pro Evo 6, which is what I spend an inordinate amount of time doing. Rather than trying to find a cheap replacement PS2 somewhere, I might buy a 360. I want to buy GTAIV when that comes out, so it's just a matter of time before I cave in and fork over some cash to Bill Gates anyway.

My questions are manifold;

a) Do I really need the 20gb (or 120gb) hard drive?
b) Should I wait until the Elite hits these shores?
c) Should I wait for the new chipsets?

On a 360, you make your own sound track for most of your games buy copying and downloading music to your hard drive, you can store game data and add on mission download from the web.

I'd be happy with a normal one with a hard drive

Just get a premium 360. Xbox live is the shit. You don't need a 120 GB hd but you will forsure need one. The elite is hype really. HDMI doesnt look much more different than component IMO.

You don't need the 120 gig hard drive unless you want to download alot of HD shit from the Xbox Live marketplace. You can stream your music from a ipod/external hard drive/computer to the xbox if you want to listen to it while playing games or chillin in the dashboard.

If you're a Pro Evo fan (like me) you'd be better off waiting for the 7th installment on the PS3. It will be the greatest thing ever I think
